I’m really enjoying this book, it gives a great insight into the world of the British prison system and also into the eccentric world of Lord Longford. Frank Pakenham was a divisive character especially when it came to prison reform. His most famous campaign was to have the the moors murderer Myra Hindley released from jail back into society.
