So popular opinion is Danny has Clown trauma from the Freakshow thing.

I don’t think Danny would have a problem with Clowns. Sure when we think Circus they’re one of the main things we think of, but Freakshow wasn’t very… Clownlike.

Was what the Clowns of Circus Gothica leaned toward looking like. But those guys were just captive ghosts like him! We never even see him have to fight them!

Freakshow however was The Ringmaster. The Master of Ceremonies and very much enjoyed the limelight and attention. Liked putting on a show and the suffering of others for entertainment while looking like this:

So I propose that Danny doesn’t loathe the Joker because he’s a “Clown” but because he’s another pompous self important ‘Ringmaster’ who thinks he’s the main attraction of his own Circus.

Imagine how funny it would be to have people talk about “The Clown Prince of Crime.” “So that crazy clown broke out of Arkham again.” and Danny just be like

“Wait but Harley Quinn has been chill for ages now and is on a vacay with her gf? Also pretty fuckin cool too?” So someone has to correct him and Danny’s face scrunches up in confusion for a moment.

“Uh, no? He’s a Ringmaster not a clown.”

It’s a whole debate now especially if Nightwing/Dick is there. Until finally Danny huffs.

“Yeah no look I see the confusion, he’s managed to fool everyone into thinking he’s just part of the Act. But really he’s the guy in charge of the whole thing. Everyone else does all the work and he, what? Stands and walks around monologuing and giving orders?

Joker’s a Ringmaster desperately trying to keep the capes down long enough to let him finish the show and enjoy the response. Hate guys like that.”

I’ve seen the posts where Danny’s rogues find out Danny is a baby, and I raise you They don’t know because ALL OF THEM are baby ghosts.

The Fenton Portal opened into a section of the Realms that’s basically the equivalent of a ghost daycare because they [ghosts] congregate near those of similar age.

There is of course the exception of Nocturn, Pandora, ect but as ancients their view of proper socialization and handling on tiny babies is skewed. Also they only notice Danny after the whole Ghost King thing and if I learned that the infant that recently joined a Daycare overthrew the government practically single handedly I would be curious too.

Possible OLD ghosts are Spectra and Desiree both of which are introduced to the Amity ecosystem from outside. Spectra is implied to have been going school to school and didn’t come through the portal, possibly drawn in by the massive increase in ectoplasm. And Desiree was part of a market table at a fair.

So what if everyone Danny knows is in fact basically the equivalent of between 5-14 yrs ghost? Maybe 20+ for the more adult/era specific looking ghosts but still baby by Realm standards

So I'm looking into Barry Allen, I'm seeing a lot of Hal/Barry in the fandom, and honestly I'm here for it. I saw her show up in the whole infinite crisis to collect her man and children, and I'm getting a lot of "My name is Iris and this is my husband Barry and our Boyfriend Hal." vibes from her, so y'all got me. I'm shipping it.

but anyway, so Crisis on Infinite Earths Barry dies to save the multiverse and Wally takes over the Flash mantle. Okay cool... Seems like a major event I should know about but uh, holy shit a lot happens between that and when Barry reenters the Speed Force to join Wally and try to prevent Orion getting shot!? (which fails and leads to Final Crisis and Batman's not Death) alright cool, so I have a whole timeline of shit Barry misses while he's mentoring/adopting Phantom.

have we talked about Pariah? I feel like that's a pretty big Lore fodder right there.

In the 1985 12-issue comic book limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths, Pariah (real name Kell Mossa) was one of the greatest scientists from his version of Earth (retconned as an alternate dimension rather than a parallel Earth). Pariah's unorthodox experiments to view the creation of the Universe result in the Anti-Monitor learning of his Earth's existence and destruction with waves of anti-matter. He survived through the intervention of the benevolent counterpart known as the Monitor, and acquired the ability to travel from one alternate Earth to another, forced to witness untold millions perish.

Oof heavy shit okay, dude blames himself for a while, 'Oh shit I fucked up' until the Anti-Monitor dude shows up and tells him. "Nah, all you did was open an antimatter portal to the dawn of time nbd not universe ending stuff really." As if that whole sentence wasn't concerning in any way. Turns out Anti-Monitor took advantage of this portal experiment (it's always portals jfc) and focused the energy specifically at Pariah's universe, you know, like an AssHole. so he could accumulate energy and bust out of his totally not rad prison.

That gets handled everything is cool the recreated Earth is doin' fine so Pariah and Lady Quark hit up Harbinger to like travel and explore this new world and shit. Which they do, aww happy endings you go you funky little threesome.

But then, years later (Infinite Crisis era), Pariah attempts to warn Lex Luthor that a dangerous predator is coming; "Lex" is in actuality Alexander Luthor of Earth-Three in disguise in order to create a new Secret Society of Super Villains. Pariah is subsequently murdered by Alexander in Villains United mini-series. like wow rude okay. Even ruder homies corpse gets a Black Lantern ring so wow alright fuck this dude in particular.

So like, what if this was our boy? Starts out chill, usurps a throne or two in his travels of the Realms, things escalate because they always fuckin do. and eventually you have a more or less united system with a King overseeing all of the 'Ghost Zone' with trickle down pyramid governments for the various afterlives and sections. Maybe it's the observants fault maybe it was whatever bullshit he got up too during his experimenting with portal phase, but he starts getting crueler, harsher, basically Goes Dark. and gets his ass stuffed in the Nap Time Bitch Coffin.

This Infinite Frontier thing offers a decent reason, too. "It is revealed that has been brought back to life due to the Flash creating Flashpoint during which Pariah fell through a crack left in the new Multiverse. He was held prisoner by the Empty Hand and The Gentry, who forced him to watch as they devoured the infinite Earths one by one. His captors eventually left to invade the new fifty-two Earths."

I mean, I'd also go a little mad being forced to watch some crazy, possibly eldritch, beings eating universes. "Due to the cycle of destruction and rebirth. Pariah decided that he would create perfect worlds for everyone. He made a deal with the Great Darkness and became its "voice", gaining immense cosmic power, and also began building an army for the Darkness.

When Barry's teammates in Justice League Incarnate came to rescue him, he refused to leave, as he did not recognize them or remember his previous life."

list of powers: Pariah is seemingly indestructible and immortal. Granted by the Monitor, he displays few additional superhuman physical capabilities otherwise, except flight. He considers the powers he has a curse, dooming him to witness horrors he cannot stop. During the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Pariah can survive Antimonitor's antimatter erasure and teleports to other multiverses based on its focal point of destruction. Pariah has the ability of flight (sus but I'll let this be a point in favr of GHOST), allowing him to travel to outer space and other dimensions. Before the Dark Crisis event, Pariah develops superhuman strength par with superman and resists multiple punches from Black Adam because of his physical invulnerability. He is also capable of creating pocket dimensions to an alternate reality and eradicating the Justice League from existence after he negotiates with the Great Darkness.

obviously like, he's supposedly like Living Immortal and not "I'm a Ghost and vastly powerful." Immortal. but hell works out if you also want to play the card of Pariah Dark being a Halfa. which, idk if anyone else does that or if I just, roll that headcanon between my fingers like a bit of sticky tack.

anyway point is I found this dude and entertained an idea but god knows I don't want to work out the kinks so I'm throwing my half assery into the Ether for y'all to look at.

Hey what if instead of losing his spleen, Ra's had his medical team use Lazarus water to restore the organ and put it back into Tim?

Like let's pretend that's a thing that can be done with the pits, and you don't have to be wholesale dunked just for one organ.

how do you think that might affect Tim? The Spleen is responsible for cleaning the blood stream and a sizable chunk of immune response. would there be lingering Pit Water that diffuses through his system?

Possibly causing a more subtle increase in temper or maybe a decrease in empathy? Enough to say, not reassure his friend and PA Tam after initial media has seen her, that her father isn't dead? To forget about the human aspect of his plans?

just a little bit? Enough that it just looks like a natural change in personality as he's grown and experienced horrific loss and suffering?

Enough it doesn't really show in his eyes, but sometimes when he's pushed to snapping there's a sheen over the blue like those glacial icebergs like an oil slick of green that's gone so fast it had to be a trick of the light and anyway it wasn't the same Lazarus green as Jason and Tim already said he was never in a pit sooo...

Oh hey, hello there's like 46 new followers. uh, hope you enjoy my content. hopefully this Deep Dive into DC Lore will release me soon and I can provide more writing in the form of stories but oh boy does DC really take alternate universes, timelines, and worlds to a whole new level of 'idgaf' and 'I do what I want.'

Currently looking through an arc showing family photos of Clark growing up and I'm just, Lord have mercy he's so cute.

Nice to see his best pal brought back up. Interesting to see Clark traveled the world before going to university.

Though on that note, I did get to read through Superman confronting Connor about well, existing. The Adventures of Superman issue #506 (1987) It seemed to go well actually? With Supes just...

Then Connor, who's like, two months old at this point I'm sure.

Connor is upset for a few reasons outside of someone trying to kill him, mainly that Tana, his best friend and who's been with him since he dropped onto the scene has Quit the network and left Metropolis, She was pretty much the only adult even remotely looking out for him which isn't a very high bar to reach but 90% of their relationship has been platonic, so I'm overlooking the 10% where she forgets he's a literal clone infant and also mentally/physically 16 Connor is very flirtatious and his banter reflects that in saving women from danger.

anyway Cadmus sends a dude to collect our boy and Superman weighs in as well.

Connor of course is livid. He's experiencing the feeling of being abandoned for the first time. Of 'losing' a friend and someone he cared about. Betrayed in thinking the people who made him are trying to kill him now or just want to drag him back to experiment on him. He's afraid and alone and doesn't know how to handle it.

He's been through a lot since being freed from the lab. He's angry, he's hurt, so he's lashing out because he's also afraid. and while Supes def meets him Glare for Glare. He still more or less keeps his chill and reminds Connor they can get him answers and that it will be fine. course Captian lemon head has to be like 'idk bruh'

Supes is quick to shut him down. Like you gonna try me? the OG Superman? I also want answers. Supes has his serious face on and Connor's expression here kills me. He's just a baby. This is the first time I've seen anyone tell him He'd be safe because they'll make sure of it.

He still mad! angy boy but he's calmed down enough now you can see the nervous concern he has. and god does he have a right to feel that someone's trying to kill him! He doesn't want to be kept in a lab and have tests run on him! no one wants that.

Then we cut to the big reveal
