it has a few different names, witchbane, magicbane, more modern, magic-stop. it’s not a deadly poison by itself, but it’s effects can be deadly. it’s almost impossible to taste, too, and it’s faint flavor is sickly sweet, slightly numbing to the mouth. the intended effect is to completely block a magic-user from their magic. it’s incredibly effective, putting up the necessary blocks in a matter of minutes for the strongest of users, and a matter of seconds for the weakest of users.
in the modern era, there’s a few witches who have perfected making it completely tasteless, but that’s incredibly hard to make and even harder to get your hands on.
and then the guardians finally said ‘ fuck this shit , lets make some gods ’ & made life & death ( and oh also reincarnation in a sense ) .
but then they also said fuck you to them & made them ‘ mortal ‘ because they wanted them to at least be on an ‘even’ playing field .
life & death had no recollection of who or what they were . they had no childhood . they were ~18 upon creation . what knowledge they did have was very VERY little . they had amnesia . they only thing they were capable of doing was speaking . though it sounded as though they came from perhaps a noble lineage ? or one that was very VERY old fashioned . this is partially because yes, the spirits raised them for 18 years before wiping their memories clean .
its amazing cause those guardians taught them everything . how to survive , how to master their skills . life obviously had the focus in creation , nullification & ‘ sowing ’ - since she was absent of all elements . death was taught how reap & basically ‘ take ’ . life was the giver , death was the taker . death had to learn how to end was life created , & he was supposed to kill without question .
problem is that life was emotionless - she was void of things . definitely was the ‘ it is what it is ’ type of girl . whereas death was full of emotion . he could never take anything lightly .
keep in mind that whatever life touches , life is breathed into whatever was touched . with death , it is death & decay . therefore death doesn’t liket o touch anything with his bare hands . life seems very nonchalant about it . they both balance one another out though .
anyway the spirits were like alright we taught you all of this , but now we are locking your memories of us & of everything you learned so you can learn how to be gods have fun bye !!!
some say that life & death came from a different world different than the world they came from . others say they came from the heavens . there is no real answer to this . they just .... came to be one day ... essentially what happened was that there was an explosion in middle of nowhere . like it was ruins anyway . like a meteor hit the earth . & at bottom of this crater , emerged the two of them . ( life & death )
ziggy was there when it all happened actually . he was hiding out from the reds & oranges . originally he had a very VERY dull grey color to his scales . it was when ziggy touched death that he seemed to get his black scaling . ( so the opposite effect of what death normally has on things ) after that , he seems to never want to leave death’s side . death , however , wasn’t fond of ziggy at first ... it was life that normally kept ziggy around ( despite death’s complaints ) . later on death learned what ziggy really was & learned to work with him in order to help control his abilities .
ziggy was the one to guide them away from the red & orange armies . life & death had no idea who they were , but the people they had met qere quick to realise that they were the coming . they were the end of one era & the beginning of a new one .
life & death had to basically go to each of the 12 temples for spiritual & elemental ‘ cleansing ’ .
death basically had to ***insert basically a major spoiler here*** but life ***insert the other big spoiler***.
essentially though life & death , with the help of ziggy , became the deity of reincarnation for like ..... a good portion of their journey .
okay but in other words . ziggy is basically the deity of reincarnation :)
all’s well that ends well ....
this took ABOUT 10 years but it took another 12 to restore everything & create a new belief system .
at least three new pantheons / religions were made from all of this though .
& thats basically the book .
oh yea , life dies like ..... once .... & stays dead for like GOOD PORTION of the book . the only reason why she like lives / comes back is because uhhhh ..... death killed the last thing she created - not because he wanted to though . he wanted to keep it alive for as long as possible cause he couldn’t bear to lose the last thing his sister made . upon killing though ( cause he had to ) she came back .
listen . she comes back because honestly that was the whole purpose of how they were going to ‘ fix ’ the world . though if i had to be real . she never really DIED died .... she had been stuck / infused with ziggy . & death was terrified to let go of what little he had of his sister . he was also terrified to be around ziggy during these times to because he knew she was so fond of him and he didnt want to lose ziggy either .
oh yea life & death also become immortal after all of this . yay .
sunlight causes immense discomfort, especially to newly turned vampires, but for the most part there's nothing stopping them from walking around in it, so long as they're well-protected ( hat, sunglasses, sleeves, ect. )

EN MA5QUE is an internationally recognized girl group formed by Midnight Star Entertainment (MSE). Each of the five members were chosen from the company's top thirty female trainees as of 2020 after six months of grueling exams and evaluations.
MSE was already in the process of forming the group when Huntr/x debuted; however, EM5 quickly became their response to Huntr/x's formation, setting the two groups up as industry rivals. While EM5 could not outpace Huntr/x in terms of star power and overall success, they ascended to a level close enough to cement their place as legitimate competition with frequent chart-topping hits and award wins (so long as they did not share a category with Huntr/x). There have been a handful of occasions where they briefly took #1 over Huntr/x in-between Huntr/x's comebacks, but their senior group's popularity always won out in the end.
EM5 has performed globally, selling out venues of all sizes. Aside from South Korea, they have massive followings in Japan and the Philippines, with sizable and growing fanbases in both the United States and eastern Europe.
lore: long ago, four goddesses of the cosmos emerged. first was libna, goddess of stars, of purity, of law and perfection. soon she became lonely and from herself she birthed zarina, goddess of the sun, of strength, of fluidity, and security. and neelu, goddess of the moon, of joy and grief, of energy and tides. a millennia passes and the last of the goddesses is brought into existence; ritika, goddess of the earth, of healing , growth, and of life. for centuries after, the goddesses expand the universe creating and conquering as they go. ritika, goddess of the earth, falls in love with her creations before long and takes her place upon the earths where eventually she is killed. this sends an era of grief through the cosmos and from then on it was forever changed and the remaining goddesses corrupted by their grief. neelu, of the goddesses, visits the earths often in remembrance of her lost sister and thus you might meet her; weeping in remembrance of her sister.
ashley’s military career, though somewhat short, spanning only over the course of six years — was impressive. he was the corps’ prized slayer. and three people played a pivotal role in this.

CORPORAL MORGAN MACCREADY. unlike the two other figures on this list, morgan was not responsible for turning ashley into a weapon. he was ashley’s first battle buddy, before the slayer corps implemented the official use of them. and while morgan’s actions established him as one of ashley’s first friends in the corps — it was his death that turned ashley into the slayer he would later become. after morgan’s passing, ashley began to measure his worth in the damage he could do. he was done saving lives. whereas christian believed other people shouldn’t have to suffer as he once had, ashley shared a belief with henri — he suffered, so why shouldn’t they? ashley craved retribution for morgan’s death, even though they all knew what they were signing up for. they promised they would make it out alive, retire as heroes, but — morgan died. they both died. and while morgan was memorialized as a hero, another life lost on the shores of alaska, ashley continued on, building his own tomb at the heart of slayer history and legend.
after ashley’s grief, his anger became his biggest motivator. it was morgan’s death which pushed him to climb the ranks and pursue elite training.

HENRI LAPIERRE. arguably, henri is the man who set it all in motion. a former 75th ranger regiment operator, he never told ashley about his time in the army, but still kept his plaques and medals up around his house, which ashley inevitably noticed as he grew older. shortly after ashley’s seventeenth birthday, henri’s brother, dr. sebastien lapierre, one of the slayer program’s head doctors — gave henri a call after years of minimal contact, asking him to re-enter active duty in the slayer program. henri talked to ashley. henri called sebastien a week later to say he’d do it. and a year later, after he’d turned eighteen, ashley enlisted, following the path henri had unintentionally cleared for him.
it was like a fire had been set. ashley graduated from basic training with honors. he excelled in advanced individual training before graduating and eventually reuniting with henri, becoming an irreplaceable asset in his platoon and ultimately, the company as a whole. both he and henri were selected, after the events of alaska, for the █████ ██████ training program, which turned slayer candidates into the elite operators the slayer corps was known for. if it hadn’t been for henri, ashley wouldn’t have completed the program — plain and simple.
and after they completed the program — ashley’s file became a mess of black ink and redacted blocks of text. he and henri lapierre went on to participate in the corps’ most classified operations, often as a hunter-killer duo. during one of these operations, over a five-month period, sergeant graves bagged two hundred and eighty-seven of his three hundred and sixty-seven total confirmed kills.

COMMAND MASTER CHIEF BLACKWOOD. the man responsible for turning ashley into a weapon. blackwood led the █████ ██████ training program, and was known only as the man who turned slayer candidates into the best operators in the united states armed forces. his slayers only knew his name, his rank, and set of duties. he’d mastered the fine art of detachment, seeing his candidates not as people, but as dull blades to be sharpened, tools to be used. blackwood didn’t remember the vast majority of the slayers he trained — given the fact that many dropped out of the program, or later died. but he remembered sergeant ashley graves, and sergeant graves sure as hell remembered him. that is all that needs to be said about the nature of blackwood’s training tactics and immeasurable cruelty he showed to those he trained.
anyway . before i go into depth about life & death . some other characters that i apparently had . and yes , my friends begged me to put them in the book so some of them were based off of what my friends wanted their characters to be .
dustin ( yellow ) : specialty was lighting infused daggers . kind of a loner & a hermit . though he knew a lot about survival . yea he was pretty cut and dry . liked to point out flaws in others though actually super sweet and very open minded . considered options before acting out .
miranda ( purple ) : dustin’s sister . a bit of a spoiled child . her way or the highway . acted first , thought later . EXTREMELY fussy . thinks she’s above everybody else . definitely a tsun . denied the fact that she liked girls only and never wanted to be with men .
ziggy ( black ) : essentially a small dragon . the last surviving elemental . could speak in one word human phrases . small but was a ‘ master ‘ bender . rather he could help death focus on the elements . capable of shapeshifting and merging with either life or death to create a titan or to empower elemental attacks . spoke devil’s - tongue / angel - whisper ( basically the language of the elementals ) & gave that ability to death .
simon ( originally an orange ) : a myth or legend . nobody knows what happened to him . the first person to learn the language of the elementals . the first human to transcend into godhood . nobody really knows what happened to him . death’s advisor / teacher . really nobody knows who or where he is but he is an old man tired of humanity . refused to help in stopping the war . blames himself for the discovery of god ascension .
