I need to set some stuff here because Im thinking about Issue 100 and the potential of Starline being reintroduced to IDW again and I have ✨ Theories✨

Starline has brainwashed Mimic into acting like him and constantly posing as him for the first part of the fight against Sonic and Eggman so he can pass off as completely unharmed and backstab both of them when they think they've won, or just something to do with Mimic in general because Starline is DEFINITELY scorned by him too.

Starline has amnesia and became delusional to the point he thinks he IS Eggman and starts dressing and acting like him and believing the other to be the imposter and since he knows so much about him he's a near perfect replica personality wise. Can you imagine how insufferable it would be. Two eggmans.

I doubt my clone thing for my Eggman and Starline verse is canon but clone shenanigan adjacent of having hundreds of copies of Sonic and Co to the point they can't tell who's who anymore and neither can the clones and in the chaos he tries taking over.

Can't wait to add a new verse of Post Defeat 2. Might add more theories later as they pop into my brain but can you tell this little fucker lives in my brain rent free? Also. Starline's 'death' took place in issues 50-51 so him making a comeback a WHOLE 50 issues later is so. Augh.

when they're getting ready for the day

this is all you've ever wanted. you and them and the promise of a future. you should be getting ready too. but you lay in bed for a moment, still feeling the traces of their warmth on the sheets, their scent on your skin. you watch how carefully they choose their outfit for the day. you watch as they pair the colors. you memorize that face they make when they stand at the mirror checking every detail. you savor how routine it is. you savor it because you both earned it. there is something precious in the domesticity and you vow to never take it for granted.

🌹: Once he's caught feelings, even if he hasn't realized it himself yet, he becomes a bit of a house husband. His love language is Acts of Service (UNSURPRISINGLY), so he subconsciously goes out of his way to take care of little things. Making meals, washing clothes, doing the little things people don't think about! It could be something as small as arranging your shoes by the door in such a way its easier for you to leave quickly, or fluffing pillows and making your bed.

💍: Feeling. Just- experiencing emotions so potent and undeniable it takes hold of his body and he can't force it away. It makes him feel alive. He's analyzed people SO much that the moment he can remember he is one is something he cherishes even if he doesn't do it consciously.
