To be honest i'm not so sure myself. Our "fae abilities" are very muddled and inactive to the point it's almost useless. He might be a special case, it could be a recessive gene, it could be something else entirely. We ran Atticus through some tests before under some guise of regular yearly medical check-up but we don't have as much since Fae Information is very hard to come by.
