I love Gilmore girls, and rewatch it help me in everyday life. But, I've to deal with certain plotlines or characters developements. Like, two arcs in season 7 about pregnancy, (I take as a critic toward women who chose to have a abortion), the lack of representations of people who aren't parents. Today, I think about Michel's character. We know he's gay or bi-sexual in the revival. But, throught the show, I tell myself, Michel is queer. I know he's queer and it's great, Lorelay and Sooky his colleagues and friends knows he's queer and are totally okay with this. But, the producers of the show weren't okay with this. During the seven season of the show, we see main characters having love stories, or just some crush. It's refused to Michel. I shouldn't be surprised to notice how "Gilmore girls," can be both modern and pointlessly traditional. But I'm. It's probably because it's one of the most well writen show I know. As Shameless does, I feel like it's done with pieces of my life, and it brings me comforts me in dark times. The revival isn't perfect, but open up to more queers representations, and gives us the satisfaction to see that Michel is fully accepted being bi or gay by people around him.
-You believe in fate. -Fate, poetry, love. They all go together, don't they?
