Sadist [2/2]
I realized I probably won't be able to finish anything if I just stare at the monitor so yeah why not just wing it. (Part 1 here)

The thing with their relationship is: it's not defined. Yes, they were classmates. Yes, they were colleagues. Yes, he was the vice president to his president. But that wasn't their exact relationship. Even they weren't sure what exactly the relationship was.
Interestingly enough, Maximillian gave Lorenzo a piece of advice about this (he's a busybody like that). "You'll realize things right after a storm. When all is in chaos," He raised his right hand towards the sky dramatically. "It is when you will see what is the meaning of love." His eyes were shining as he went on to explain how beautiful and tragic William's fate would be. At that point, as practiced throughout the months they've been together, Lorenzo expertly tuned out his lecture.
Chaos, huh?
Problems in the form of the Glasses Club came one after the other, and Lorenzo instinctively knew that the moment was near. Meganebu was chaos personified. It won't take long before he realizes what William was to him.
---
The worst of the 'storm' came during the literal storm before the cultural festival. Lorenzo looked outside and got the extreme worry you get when something is about to go completely wrong. He knew he had to do something. So, he wore his uniform and raincoat and called his driver to drop him off at the school. "Will!" What he saw there was the whole Glasses Club and Student Council working together to keep the SS Tower safe. He immediately helped out, not even saying anything to his driver who simply parked at the side.
"Lorenzo!" When everything was said and done, William stood at his side (as he always does) and talked with the other members. They shared laughters and worries and gratefulness with each other, as if they were old friends. Lorenzo watched as William slowly saw the good in one Akira Souma.
A whisper of "Are you jealous?" reached his ear, but Lorenzo was sane enough not to react to Max. Neither did he react to the delighted nudging from Tony. Really, rather than jealous, he's been feeling extremely proud lately. William was growing up and being able to work through his stomach pains. He was becoming more and more like a worthy Himakai president (not that he wasn't already).
----
Another issue arose when Akira Souma decided to do something crazy once again. Instead of doing as planned, he stepped on top of the 'final piece' of the SS Tower and announced something else. William looked like he was about to die from his stomach pain. As always, Lorenzo readily took out the stomach medicine and raised it just above Will's head.
But William was slowly changing. The storm made him stronger, and that was most obvious right now. He raised a hand, signalling that he didn't need the stomach medicine. Shaking, he tried to stand and wobbled towards Souma Akira.
"We must do something great!" Akira pointed towards the flying banner. Squinting at it, Lorenzo immediately realized the 'surprise' the Glasses Club has been planning. Ah, the posters... That's amazing. Lorenzo realized the Glasses club did what the Himakai couldn't.
At their side, William was looking at Akira with shining eyes. "Souma-kun..." A soft blush was on his cheeks as he took Akira's outstretched hands.
Will... An overwhelming feeling of pride erupted in Lorenzo's chest. A knowing smile appeared on his face. You're going to be as great as that Souma, don't worry.
---
With an explosion of confetti, their success was secured. The solar powered banner flew high up with all their help.
William shouted in joy and latched both of his arms around Lorenzo's neck, closing his eyes in pure happiness. Lorenzo could only look at him fondly, loving the feeling of William's arms around him.
I'll help you become a great man. I am proud of you. Lorenzo, as Max had prophesied, understood there and then what William meant for him. He never got jealous, never once questioned Will's intentions. That was because... No matter what, you look at me with those eyes. You look at me as if I hold the answer. You ask everyone else, you admire someone else, but you always come back to my side. You always hold on to me. I trust you because you trust me with your life. And I will trust you with mine.
