This is the last post for LOREtober for now, and although I didn't manage to do everything, I'm happy to have gotten this far. I hope you enjoyed learning more about my grumpy noodle and his lore. “Good at”

Néva’s good at people. She’s always had enough charm to persuade and dissuade. In her past life as part of a Waterdhavain noble household, she would use her charisma to solidify merchant ties for her family. This would often happen at balls (heh), cocktail parties (heheh), where the wine was free flowing and the seedier nobles were chatty. 🧇

Feels good drawing my girl again! I want to flesh out her Waterdeep Dragon Heist backstory since I missed the campaign so much!

#5 - Alternate Class

If the two had to pick a different class, they would likely swap with one another, making her a rogue, and him a sorcerer. Heart loves sneaking around with Duke while adventuring, keeping look out for him, and having his back for sneak attacks in a fight. While Duke has a delighted interest in magic. He's often encouraging Heart to practice her own spells, and supports her in growing her innate magic.

Heart has also been a cleric in other lifetimes, though she functioned as more of an oracle than a trained priestess.

Duke could possibly run as a storytelling bard if he had to. He could use his lean athletic frame for performing too.

#5 - Favorite Meal

Duke finds that he enjoys soups and stews, the sorts of meals that warm you to the core. He loves seeing the differences made with different recipes from family to family, or even person to person. It's a quality of sharing with one another and feeding a lot of people to keep them warm and healthy, whether in homes, taverns, or even around a campfire.

Heart loves a bowl of fresh fruit, favoring oranges and strawberries. Alongside yogurt and a glass of cold milk, this makes her quite content.

Day 3: La Llorona

I like to switch between October drawing challenges, if I don’t feel inspired by the prompts of one. So today I decided to participate in Loretober’s theme.

Loretober Day 8: Going for the more mothy Mothman with influence from a black-waved flannel moth, native to West Virginia, where this urban legend comes from. I chose it since it's one of the species that has the long feathery antennae. Pentel brushpen, Bombay Black ink and brush, red Daiso brushpen and Prismacolor fine-line marker on Canson mixed media.
