Why do people talk? The students weren't trying to be disrespectful, but they didn't even try to lower their voice. I had to walk to the back group while I was teaching just so I could tap their desk and ask them to stop talking. Meanwhile it worked. Are there any suggestions to prevent these chatty moments?
