A princess prepares to administer a universal remedy for the unawakened.
Sollux is unawakened - in other words, he’s unconnected to his Dream Self. I’m beginning to suspect there’s more to that connection than we’ve been told.
Feferi is familiar with the Horrorterrors of Derse, so she probably knows a thing or two about the Dream Moons. What’s her plan?
Huh?
Huh?
Alright, here’s my guess about what just happened.
Feferi gave Sollux the kiss of Life. She took his life force out of his dying body, and moved it across the Dream Self connection, to his other body on Derse. Sollux is now fully inhabiting his Dream Self - and thanks to Feferi’s powers, this body can now survive on its own, without a realself to dream it.
The Sollux in the Veil - the one destined to die again - is Dream Sollux, and always was.
Ooh, we haven’t been here in a while.
If the feeds from these screens are in real time, Slick has been bleeding out here for hours. He seems alright, so Carapacians must be made of some tough stuff. They are bred to be soldiers, after all.
I wonder what sort of plan Jack’s cooking up. His younger self already lived through this session, so he has foreknowledge of how this is going to play out. WV and PM were got up to some fun trickery in their stations, and Jack’s more familiar with time than they are. He could do more.
If he’s clever, he might be able to set up a time loop to break himself out of the Manor. Perhaps he could instruct Karkat to send some useful items down to Alternia, while he’s cloning himself in the Veil.
Sup, Hussie.
Time for another recap?
I’m looking at Homestuck Collection now, and it seems to be a pretty good imitation of the 2010 website. It’s a nice touch.
LOSAD....
