Rether is more in-tune to the 'cards' or the 'fate' that has been dealt to you, even before he had actuall cards in his possession. By the use of Tarot Cards, he foretells the future, however he's terrible at fortune telling and his predictions are more-than-not wrong. Due to this he goes by the opposite of what he gets from the actual cards. He is fascinated by colors, by bright vivid colors and paints if possible. However on Powol there is no paint or such colors, so he cannot do so. Rether often mentions the 'cards' in conversation and confuses those he is conversing with. Since he believes in what he is dealt, he is accepting of his situations and events that happen to him. The day the Collector comes for him, he'll be waiting.
