I ordered a bunch of books last week and am expecting seven packages. Two are in my hometown and should be delivered tomorrow, one's in Nevada, one's in Pennsylvania, and three are lost in Georgia. They're not technically lost, their location is known, but every single package I get that travels through Austell, Georgia invariably gets lost. This is not hyperbole, I've noticed this pattern since May, a good four or five packages in a row have wound up in Austell and subsequently gone missing, only to be delivered without tracking data weeks later. I think there's something wrong with the facility up there because the tracker doesn't even keep track anymore; it usually gives me a list of every facility the package travels through, in order, dated, "it was in Illinois, then it was in Jacksonville, then Opa Locka, now it's out for delivery," but whenever a package winds up in Austell the tracking data not only stops, but backtracks. It will literally delete previous entries on the list, as if they never happened! "It was in Illinois, then it was in Georgia" becomes "your package is in USPS possession," with no locations or times listed at all! It's like they're gaslighting me by deleting the proof that my package was en route. I've started taking screenshots.
