Oh god in high school I borrowed a bunch of Ghibli movies from a friend and she explicitly told me not to watch Grave of the Fireflies because it was too sad but I ignored her warning and wrecked myself

i watched in the movies bc my theater was participating in the ghibli festival and it gutted me holy fuck 

ive heard up and down that its prob the most depressing animated movie ever and god damn. they were all right.
