Now, this is where Feverfew Neighborhood goes fully experimental. The most part of the ‘Church Gardens’ community lot is neighborhood deco. Expect all kinds of silly ‘walk through things’ bloopers when sims visit this lot. I did my best to bound decorations out with fences though.
Ideally, an invisible fence might work perfectly for this purpose, but I want to keep third party CC list at low as much as possible.

Enhance your neighborhood landscapes with a wide range of horizon objects. Enjoy a nice 360° view in your neighborhood and in lot mode! All skylines are fully seasons ready, only the beach skyline has summer & winter textures (Update 1.1). The horizons change in spring, summer, autumn and the tree winter phases.
The skylines are based on @criquette-was-here‘s work that @witheredlilies put together in a package. A huge thank you to @lowedeus who created new templates, made the skylines seasons ready and optimized everything!
The following pics were all taken in lot mode! Telling from the pictures there might not be a very big difference from spring to summer (spring has a more yellow-greenish grass and summer is neutral) but it also depends on the part of the skyline you’re looking at. I didn’t want to spent hours taking screenshots from all sides but there’s a lot to see!
Apart from the skylines, there’s also a default for the placement box by lowedeus. It has an arrow on it that makes placing skyline easier... speaking of:
The horizon objects must be placed in one of the four corners of the neighborhood. There’s a box with an arrow that has to point to the edge of the corner, just like in these pictures.
For a way less stressful placement, I highly recommend a camera mod for your neighborhood. Lowedeus put a camera compilation together and if I were you, I would just use every single camera in there. You won’t regret it.
Depending on the skyline, the cube should either be placed on low, normal or high terrain. I recommend to test this for yourself. If you have the free time EP, you should use the cheat modifyNeighborhoodTerrain on and choose the area that should be raised/lowered. Click here for additional details about this cheat.
In order to see the skyline in lot mode, follow this tutorial. With this you can not only see the skylines, but you also have an open world feel to your game.
The skylines can be found under the effects category.
Thank you all for your amazing support over the last months!! Please let me know if there are any issues! This can easily happen if you work with so many skylines at once! :D
Keep adding more and more lot mode stuff to be able to build things the way I see it in Feverfew.
There are 5 basic brick walls now, few types of fences to match each colour, same 5 brick colour scheme chimneys, dwarf conservatory walls to match, custom conservatory roof pieces, separate window sills with variations, window and front door lintels and canopies, roof soffit cornices, front doors, few types of windows that support animated windows hack, some custom roof materials and that isn’t all.
The Village Green Community lot. Now, I wanted village green available as a community lot but I wanted it completely clear from any public conveniences required for a community lot to be comfortable.
I didn’t expect to implement that idea in Feverfew at all but in the end I’ve realized that this is the best way to deal with it.
So I made a build that is incorporated into a hood deco. I’ve cloned the deco house that I’ve put here at the end of the Fore Street, cut the mesh out so that it would not obstruct the interior and here’s the result!
Since there’s no 45 degree angle of rotation for neighborhood decos, there’s always a problem with blending off-grid hood decos with diagonally placed lot mode items and walls. That’s why cafe facade looks so, umm, funny. But I decided to turn it into a feature and called this place ‘Zig Zag Cafe’
Quite popular place among the parents that come to collect their children from Feverfew Primary School next door.
Now I have a completely clear village green and a place where sims can use the toilet and have a snack or coffee. It would look even better with a couple of outdoor tables!
