Well hello, you poor people who have the misfortune of following this blog. This is Lotor again. Sendak probably should not have gone to all the trouble of changing his password, seeing that his new one was as pitifully easy to guess as his old one.
I have temporarily changed his password because 1) I can and 2) I would like to hear from you unlucky followers of Sendak’s nonsense. Why do you follow him in the first place? Are you just here for the circus and to laugh at his antics?
...I had no idea this existed and I don’t know how to feel about it
My apologies for disappearing for some time. After our Disney vacation was over, we appeared on a game show called Pictation. We were not allowed to discuss it until the episode aired, so I hope you’ll forgive my silence. We did not win, but it was an experience. (Not sure if I would do it again.)
Morvok was flown in to make up the last member of our team. Papa says he thinks this is the reason we lost. Mama agrees with him.
We are still currently in “Florida” and it is very hot here. Mama finds the Florida Man fascinating so we continue to observe. My internet is a bit spotty so I will post as I can.
As promised: my skincare routine and helpful hints!
First, the most important thing you can do for good healthy skin is internal. A good diet with a great deal of fresh fruits and vegetables, plenty of water and a good night’s sleep can do wonders for the health of your skin.
Secondly, wash your face. Wash gently with a mild soap, as the skin on your face is very delicate and easily damaged. Periodic exfoliation can help in lifting away dead skin cells, but you have to be careful and not exfoliate too frequently or too forcefully as again, the skin on your face is delicate and harsh or overly frequent exfoliation can damage it.
The best temperature water for your face is lukewarm water. Water that is too hot can dry out your skin. Also, when you dry your face, pat it dry, don’t rub. Rubbing can cause a great deal of at first invisible but still significant damage. When you apply products to your face (moisturizers, serums, etc), pat them in as well. It’s gentler on your skin.
Occasionally, a facial treatment like a face mask can be a nice addition to your routine. Check the product labels carefully and make sure they suit your skin type. This goes for everything you put on your face as well, including cosmetics... which leads us to...
Cosmetics can be wonderful products, but it is important to take care of them as well. Don’t use any expired products on your face and be sure to regularly clean your cosmetics brushes for the health of your skin and eyes.
NEVER sleep with makeup on. That is very, very unhealthy for your skin and can clog your pores. Also, periodically letting your face go bare and breathe is a good idea.
Moisturize! Even oily skin. It’s a common misconception that you shouldn’t moisturize oily skin, but trying to dry out oily complexions can actually backfire and cause a greater oil production as your skin tries to compensate for a lack of moisture. You should still moisturize, just use the proper product for your skin type.
Sun protection is very important as well. The sun’s rays can really damage one’s skin, so a good sun cream is a necessity to prevent sun damage and aging.
If you have blemishes on your face, avoid squeezing them. If they are painful or an unbearable nuisance, first try applying a warm cloth to the blemish to draw it out. If this fails and you absolutely must pop the blemish, don’t squeeze it. Either use cotton swabs placed on either side of the blemish or clean fingers and pull apart. I do not recommend this at all, but if you absolutely must, pulling us preferable and less likely to scar than squeezing.
Some people have genetic issues that cause them to have skin problems, even when doing everything right. If you are one of these people, don’t feel too badly. (I had horrible skin issues when I was younger so I understand this completely.) Just do the best you can with what you have.
Lastly. STAY AWAY FROM QUINTESSENCE. It may make you immortal but it ages you horribly. (My parents are living proof of this.)
Hope this helps you, lovelies! Enjoy 😘
Mama shouted at me to come and eat while I was doing my highlighter... oh well, I can just tell people that it’s a new Youtube trend.
Mama and Papa are being a little too affectionate with each other for my liking......
Mama discovered the magic of ring lights. I left my computer unattended for a while and returned to many, many selfies she’d taken in Photo Booth.
