A Tale of Two
Hey! Ho! To the bottle I go
“PO-TA-TOES!” “You shall not pass!” “I say, you're asking me to follow you into Mordor, which, if I'm totally straight with you I think is a really bad idea. But uh the Shire, the Shire is burning. So Mordor it is.” “What is Mordor?” Lord of the Rings trilogy (book 1-3) Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s been on my TBR for the longest but I did it! I have seen the movies and so I knew what I was getting into 🫢😉 también como hay un boricua en middle earth es más especial para leer lo @ismaelcruzcordova #bookreview #bookstagram #bookrecommendations #lordoftherings #lotrtrilogy #lotrbooks #jrrtolkien #theshire #middleearth #rivendell #hobbit #elves #dwarfs https://www.instagram.com/p/CkZraXCpIa2/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Forgotten things!
I just watched the special extended edition of the Lord of the rings and like every Christmas time ( it somehow became a family tradition to watch the Lotr trilogy) it reminds me of some of the virtues we might have lost in the hustle of the 21st century: - There are many ways of love: the love of a good old friend who will never ever let you feel the loneliness of cold and dark times; a beautiful and pure love that is disconnected to the worries of the world; a love of a family member that can be felt only through a look, a touch or even silence. It seems to me that these kind of loves are forgotten and only a brief encounter of euphoric emotions count as true love. Where is the unconditional and incomprehensible way of ardent loving no matter of what society, social classes or religions preach us? - The scars of war: Why do we have to hate people and why is there only a black and white. Instead of putting all our energy in negative thoughts, hurting words and bruising actions, we should share love, admiration and support. Even the smallest negative thing has the power to do a greater damage we could not imagine. I know I am a geek, but the way Sam sees the good in people and even in the worst way situation should be a educational example for us. After all, there is something good in the world and we should focus on that rather on cruel ways of destroying without a second thought. - We all have a mission to complete in life: Frodo's damn task was to carry the burden of a golden ring that is the doom of all he loves. I believe that everything that happens is somehow meant to be. Yes, I do believe in destiny and that everyone has a fate that is bound on a certain job/ mission. I truly think that my job is educating children weather in really boring subjects or just in ways of teaching them about life itself. I needed to share my thoughts that I connect with the Tolkien trilogy. It always inspires me to be a little bit cheesier than I already am :). But it makes life easier when I remind myself that I am blessed with my life and that I should try and give something back to the world and universe. We should remind ourselves of some important things that have been forgotten at the turn of the tide. Think of one thing that makes you feel blessed and one thing that you might change for the better. Peace, love and happiness!
