There's a lot of emotions going on right now about Floofty x Triffany and there are people on here that don't have Instagram/Tik Tok that are probably confused. While I think it's very sillay and it goes without saying I love seeing official sapphic Triffy content, It is definitely NOT cannon.

All of YH's social media platforms are ran by their social media manager, not nessesarily any of YH's devs and/or writers. The whole story of the video in question is just following the lyrics to "Good Luck, Babe" by Chapel Roan. Which is a popular song right now, especially on Tik Tok. (Also following the context of the song I don't think Triffloofty would be cheating cause. The implication following the song would be they were in a relationship before Triffany married Wambus. Tho you are still totally valid if the relationship makes you uncomfortable because of the potential cheating aspect regardless)

I think the person who runs YH's social media probably just thought it was silly and likes the ship- or the idea that Floofty has a crush on Triffany, it seems. Also with the reddit AMA the devs behind bugsnax did say, in terms of LGBT itendities that only what's shown in game in absolutely canon. This was more or less to say any queer interpretation of their characters are valid.

And of course, if it WERE canon I think it would definitely weaken Bugsnax's writing, and basically ruins a big part of both Triffany AND Wambus's character growth. So don't worry, they still love eachother! And I think the game itself shows that they really do. And also, Triffany having comphet doesn't make sense when Wambus is literally her beautiful butch wife

ok who’s going to make the fic going into Triffany’s mental state of her viewing the whole situation as nothing but a means to an end, a distraction from her life because she’s so used to running from her problems vs Floofty who can’t help but be consumed by their emotions, falling in love with Triffany even though they know she’s married and it would be impossible to work out.

who’s going to write Floofty’s inevitable desperation and strained confession to Triffany and asks her, begs her to say she loves them. But Triffany doesn’t and she can’t because she’s supposed to love Wambus. That this is all a stupid impulsive decision the way her heart flutters, the absolutely adoration Floofty gives her that actually resonates unlike with how she forced herself with Wambus. Because she’s supposed to like men and only men.

who’s going to write Wambus finding out and as much as there’s anger, there’s such utter despair and in the end the only thing he can ask Triffany is why. And Triffany won’t have a good answer.

Uh. So I fucked up-

When I made that post, I was kidding? Like I know what I typed, but I meant in the way you could see Wambus and his catcus and go, “haha cannon”. The reason I called it a doomed situationship was because of the usage of Good Luck Babe by Chapell Roan.

I’m really sorry my post got so out of hand and I’ll be more mindful about what I say. I really didn’t mean to make so many uncomfortable nor imply it was a genuine thing.
