Matching Soulmate Markings:
He runs his hand over the mark on his wrist - it’s dark, darker than most markings he’d seen before, but people always reminded him that a darker mark made for a stronger bond. At least that’s what people liked to say. At least it was small. A central splotch, at most a half an inch, with markings coming off of it. He always thought it resembled a bug of some sort. Firefly, perhaps.
His door opened, so he quickly pulled his sleeve back over the mark. He grinned. ”Hey Lottie.” Her hair is up, for what seems to be the first time in his memory. Surely she’d worn it up at least once before, but now it was tightly bound in a bun and when Tad stepped forward to hug her, he froze.
Oh her neck, just below her ear, was a matching firefly. In a sudden burst of courage he decides the hug isn’t enough and kisses her.
lottad as close friends raised in candor and tad is a year older and chooses to go into dauntless the year before lottie gets a choice (because he knows that she'll choose it) and she arrives a year later and tad is suddenly muscley and firm and kinda famous for having a low number of fears (that goes up one now that shes with him again - meaning he can lose her) and everyone gets confused at how easily lottie can make tad blush
kitcap from the same year but from dauntless and erudite respectively who are both divergent and both choose to go into candor without knowing theyre immune to the truth serum and get through the initiation without fully telling all of their secrets but they slowly both figure each other out (and run shit because the liar among the forever truthful always wins)
travinn as an erudite and a dauntless respectively who both choose to be dauntless and bond hardcore during initiation and end up in 1st and 2nd place for their year miles and miles ahead of the other initiates and some healthy competition breaks out between them that involves a lot of... sparring.
