Taylor's eyes fluttered open, the room was bright, morning sun streaming through the windows. Gazing over to her right she saw a mess of long blonde hair on the pillow, sleeping peacefully. She smiled a little at the memory of the previous night. Lottie and Taylor had met at the Reef, the connection had been almost instant. Lottie was stunning, her charm was effortless, it took all of 10 minutes to win Taylor over. It didn't take long before they were making out in the back of the uber on the way to Aurora Bay Drive. Honestly, Taylor was lucky to have caught her name at all.
Rolling over, she grabbed her phone from the bedside table. 9:47, late for Taylor. Quiet as a mouse, she emerged from the bed, tying her hair up and out of the way and throwing on last night's shirt. The house had seemed dead silent the night before so she wasn't concerned about any nosy family members. Making her way out of the door, she headed towards what she hoped would be the kitchen. It was hard to tell, the house was huge and a bit of a maze, and it wasn't like she'd been paying much attention to the layout last night. Did Lottie live here all by herself?
After a couple wrong turns Taylor found herself in the kitchen, giant counter island and all. She rifled through a couple cupboards but they were all strangely empty, save one which was stocked with all kinds sugary and salty snacks that could hardly qualify as breakfast. She opened the monster fridge and peered in, disappointed to find nothing of substance there either. Footsteps sounded behind her, maybe she hadn't been as quiet as she thought. "Morning," She turned her head and smiled. "Not one for cooking I see?"
