Yaaay, it’s there! Not long ago, my first picturebook “Lotti & Otto” was released. Published by Edel:KidsBooks, illustrated by me, and wondefully written by Collien Ulmen-Fernandes. So what’s it about? Lotti and Otto are two otter kids who meet at summer camp. While Lotti enjoys running around in the wild or going fishing, Otto is great at thinking up delicious cookie recipes, sewing, and telling stories. The book addresses gender roles at the root and shows how easily they can be made redundant. In my opinion, that's a really important topic - just let the kids do and dress as they like, no matter if it's a boy or a girl.
Happy cozy weekend everybody! 🍁🍂 Here's a quick flipthrough of "Lotti & Otto" (written by Collien Ulmen-Fernandes and published by Edel:KidsBooks).
