Irritating. That guy was irritating!! While he reached over to look into the man’s sleeves, grabbing his wrist violently as he pulled him forward onto the table. They were partners in crime, but that wouldn’t stop Tooji from rough-housing and man-handling the other severely. Despite being the right-hand assistant, he was not intimidated by a mere title.
“Cheat all you want with others, but partners shouldn’t act like pricks towards each other, Naruko...” Chewing harder on his toothpick he snapped it in half -- he was in the mood for another beer. “No more poker with you...” He pushed the man back into his chair as he waved a waitress over to serve him another pint, spitting the broken toothpick onto the ground carelessly. If it was up to him, he’d go home for now, but that would not be a thing... two of them weren’t here for just shits and giggles, it was a task at hand.
