Click on the image for full quality! Originally, I wanted to draw turnarounds with them in new clothing but that didn't really work out so I just updated an old sketch. Sorry for the rather simple background, I wasn't sure what to do with it and I ran out of time; also the colors are less saturated here for some reason but I hope you enjoy anyway!

So I’m not really an artist, haha, but last year, I drew this picture of Adrenaline Rush/humanAU!Lotura in more traditional outfits after watching the movie Jodhaa Akbar (2008). That movie has some serious Lotura vibes (it’s a 16th-century story of an alliance/marriage between an emperor and princess of two different cultures), and I love it.

Lotura Week Day 2: Petunia - Anger/Fantasy

King Alfor looks down at the Dark Elf kneeling on the floor before his throne. 

Lotor’s eyes are cast to the ground as he speaks. 

“Your majesty, I understand my mistake and I wish to make amends. Please accept my apology. I will do whatever you may ask to demonstrate my sincerity.”

Alfor nods, standing. 

“Well, I will accept your apology. But my acceptance is not what will spare you. You will find her in her study.”

Lotor nods, swallowing a bit nervously as he gets to his feet. 

“Right…”

He makes his way to the chamber, taking a steadying breath before giving a light knock. 

Allura’s voice drifts through the door, but it holds much more bite than usual. 

“Enter.”

He slowly opens the door, carefully peering in. 

“Allura, my love-”

He ducks back behind the door as she throws a vase at him. He continues speaking from behind the large shield. 

“Darling, I’m sorry for what I said. How it came out is not how I intended…”

“Well I should certainly HOPE not! To compare me to that deranged, vicious, cold hearted hag!”

Lotor holds back the urge to argue, knowing it will do nothing to help him.

“Yes, well… When I said you reminded me of my mother, I meant from BEFORE she changed… Back when she was gentle, intelligent, strong and radiated a beauty that would put even the sun, moon and stars to shame.”

There is silence in the room, so Lotor decides to try re-entering. 

Allura is standing there, arms still crossed though her expression has softened. He smiles lightly, meeting her gaze. 

“Though, I do seem to have been mistaken. For now I’m sure you would surpass her in every aspect.”

She tries to hold the stern look, but it slowly melts away into a smile. She releases her arms, holding them out to her husband. He moves towards her, pausing to kiss at both hands before she pulls him into her arms.
