We turn the lights on for Vancouver based artist David Vertesi who has created an indie pop gem with his poignant new track Loud Talker pulled from his just releases Sad Dad Cruise Ship (which has just got to be one of the best LP titles of this year!) via Bandwagon Music.  You can watch the enlightening visual treatment for this track out above.

Something thing that annoys me is when people stop a conversation to make a phone call. This just happened again. Now this was not an important or urgent call, but a call to find other people to talk to. It was bugging me, but i thought i'd ignore it and have some more food (which i had bought to share with my then present company). Why the hell do they suddenly talk 3 times as loud now thats she on the iPad, i was used to a set volume and then all I hear is loud chit chat between you and other people. Not only have I been excluded again, but all I hear is you yammering on your iPad. I give up and sneak off to my room unnoticed. If she waited till after we had finished our nibbles it would've been fine, but she interrupted it to talk to someone who is available to speak to at anytime. She could have at least talked at an appropriate level, I couldn't even concentrate proparly.

David Vertesi (the bassist for Hey Ocean) has a new single and it's gold. I'm really glad that his first album didn't end up just being a one time thing.
