Here are 3 Louis/Daniel headcanons just for you.

On Night Island, Daniel takes Louis to his favorite Miami gay bar (since they met in one in SF). There, Daniel tells him what happened when he left the room where the interviewed happened: how he packed his car and headed off to NOLA to find Lestat. Louis is mildly surprised to hear it (very much 'I don't know what I thought was going to happen' moment) and he asks Daniel why he did it. Daniel is like, “You told me where to find Lestat! You practically drew me a map.” And is Louis all: “Daniel, it had been well over forty years since I'd seen him, I had no reason to believe he’d still be there.”

I think both enjoy mysteries, so after Louis finishes a particularly good mystery novel, he’ll bring it to Daniel so he can read it and then they talk about them sometimes before meetings or while everyone is just hanging out, leading to a running Coven joke about them having a book club.

One time, as a little prank on Armand, Louis and Daniel switched clothes: Louis in one of Daniel’s vintage t-shirts, torn jeans, and purple chucks, Daniel in one of Louis’ soft cashmere sweaters, designer jeans, and polished leather shoes. Armand found it a little pointless (“I can buy you clothes like Louis’, beloved, I bought his.” “I don’t know why you want to dress in Daniel’s rags.”) Daniel stole the sweater because it was soft and comfortable, and Louis had no idea where it went. When he saw Daniel wearing it weeks later, he tackled him and yanked it off of him in a surprising act of aggression that Daniel found extremely hot.
