The Moore family welcomed their first born on an otherwise quiet day. Florence delivered the baby with little difficulty with the assistance of a midwife. She was immediately smitten with the son they named Louis, after Roy’s late father. Roy adored Louis and was more than excited to bring up a sensible young man to carry on the family name Just a note: my reshade wasn’t working properly for the first few times I took screenshots for this challenge! It has been fixed so these photos will not really match the rest of the legacy challenge!

Florence was in complete awe of her son, he already had a full head of her dark brown hair and his father’s deep brown eyes. She spent a lot of time walking him in their garden, showing him the chickens, the ducks, the birds and bees. Her pregnancy was easy and so was the birth, she had recovered well and was now focused on being the best possible mother she could be and giving Louis a sibling. She felt free from her past of intense and debilitating melancholia, she felt light as she spent time with her son, cooked, cleaned, knit and played the piano. Her home was full of music and light- the gramophone was rarely silent. All hail my reshade that finally decided to cooperate after a reinstall! Florence found herself busy with her growing son- he was now sturdy on his feet and moving around with ease. Their downtime was spent on their front porch as the weather became more agreeable. Florence was enjoying her life as a mother and a homemaker.  Though she noticed some changes in her body… similar to the changes when she was pregnant with Louis… “mama up!” The thought was interrupted as her son begged to get up in his mothers arms to go take a nap.
