Eddie smiles " come here baby girl, I knew you wouldn't win against me " he opens his arms for Steve, " damn you " Steve huffs as he lowers his head as he walks to Eddie, he nearly falls into Eddie's arms, hugging him tightly and burying his face into Eddie's chest, nearly almost knocking over the curly haired boy, " woah there sweetheart, missed me much " Eddie chuckles as he hugs Steve tightly, rubbing his back softly, he knows Steve missed him of course, he always misses him whenever he has to stay watching the kids or is with Robin for a whole day an night, Steve's not gonna say no tho, just to stay with his boyfriend, the others already tease him by calling him, sweetheart, baby girl and princess, he gets quite flustered over the last two, he won't deny it from Eddie tho, especially over a bet, that's how he got in this mess the first place, Robin betting him that he can't stand being away from Eddie overnight, an he infact failed, with a little help from his sad begging puppy eyes, Eddie caved in an Steve infact lost but he couldn't care, cuz as soon as he got close to Eddie, the scent of the woods, old spice and maybe the sweet smell of apples, he's won in his book cuz he absolutely loves that smell and Eddie so much, he's literally wearing a sweater that Eddie got him that only smells like his boyfriend, Eddie has to basically pin Steve down just to get it off to wash it but he loves that his boyfriend is obsessed with him and vice versa, two happy dorks that are obsessed with one another
