Steve owns a small ranch, okay maybe not that small but he doesn't like to brag, anyways one day Eddie asks where Steve's been for the week, Max smiles " he owns a ranch up the road some, down a dirt path, he spends his time there, riding, practicing an giving riding lessons to people, along with his horses, they're so pretty " she explains as Jane takes her to talk about the horses, Eddie furrows his eyebrows " why's he never told me or any of you until just now " he questions as he looks at Dustin, since he's kind of the closest to Steve, Dustin smiles " well he just doesn't like to mention it cuz, he's a pretty good trainer and he just doesn't want us to treat him any different, plus he didn't really think it'd be something we go an inspect " he looks at Eddie as he sits down, Eddie nods as he asks " is he there now " he looks at Dustin again, Dustin nods as he gets up an walks off before he can answer more questions, Eddie sighs as he walks out the door an heads to Steve, well at least the direction Max told him, Steve smiles as he waves farewell to a girl an her mother, she's been improving a lot an the bond with her horse is also improving wonderfully, Steve decides to get his mustang Sorrow, he brushes him gently an then tacks him up gently as well, he then gets onto him an gives the command to walk forward, which Sorrow does with little to no resistance whatsoever, Steve rides Sorrow down his favorite trail, as he looks at the sky and pets Sorrow, Eddie continues to walk down the dirt trail, he mumbles things to himself, he then notices someone that's quite far up the trail, on a horse, he continues to walk an notices its Steve, he smiles as he says " so this is what you've been doing, I honestly thought you were seeing someone else " he fidgets nervously, Steve gets out of his thoughts as he looks ahead an down, he sees Eddie and hears what he said, he chuckles " ya pretty much and I'd never see anyone else but you, I've just been busy with training a girl an her horse Buttercup, but I'm free for a month since they're going on vacation " he scratches the back of his neck an pets Sorrow, Eddie smiles as he nods " sounds good, who's this " he gently points to Sorrow, Sorrow snorts an sniffs Eddie, he tries to get into Eddie's coat pocket, Steve laughs " oh this is Sorrow, he's a mustang, pretty wild horse if you ask me but he's sweet, an loves snacks " he pats Sorrow softly, Sorrow stops an snorts, Eddie smiles " he sure is cute " he pets Sorrow gently. Sorrow shorts as he nuzzles Eddie's hand, Steve smiles as watches " he sure is, he's pretty chill and sweet, most of the time, wanna join " he reaches his hand out for Eddie to grab, Eddie is cautious at first but takes Steve's hand, getting onto Sorrow, sitting behind Steve, he holds onto Steve, Steve smiles as he instructs Sorrow to walk, breathing peacefully as he enjoys this, Eddie holds onto Steve tighter but not enough to hurt him, he relaxes as it's not that bad, they walk an look at the sunset, before getting off an putting Sorrow away after taking the tack off and putting it away, he feeds the horses an the other animals, an then heads home, holding Eddie's hand as he smiles, Eddie kisses Steve's head " your so cute Princess, thanks for showing me what you were doing " he kisses the back of Steve's hand as they walk, Steve blushes " your welcome Ed's, an I enjoyed being with you even more " he kisses Eddie's cheek as they walk home, the sky a perfect orange color from the sun slowly setting, enjoying each other's company.
