Thanks for the advice and well wishes, everyone! It ended up not going very well, unfortunately, considering I’m back to Windows 7 now. XD It ended up freezing repeatedly during installation (one time for several hours while I visited my sister - I was hoping if I waited long enough it would get past it, but no luck), so I ended up rebooting until it reverted back to Windows 7. Thankfully everything was still intact, but it freaked me out enough that I’m just going to keep it here for the time being. Since my computer is 5 years old, I’ll likely get a new one in the next year or so, and I think I’ll be just fine with Windows 7 until then. *hugs computer*

@wifemomsimmer - Hope that doesn’t make you reluctant to upgrade - it sounds like most people don’t have any problems! I believe mine were due to power issues (as in I lost power a few times and my machine got rebooted) during installation, but I’m not 100% sure.

I never would have thought that I would type this but I really want toddlers in my game since I saw that render they made when one of their colleagues had a new baby. This was extremely cute, and given the cuteness level of the kids in game already, I'm longing for the introduction of toddlers in TS4 since then... just to squeak with excitement whenever a toddler appears on my computer screen :)

I AM with you on that one! I really do want to see their debut for completeness. I’ve just bumped them down one notch. That’s all. Bring on the rain! lol ♥♥♥

I really want toddlers for the sake of "completeness". I probably wouldn't play with them that much, but I think it'd be good to at least have the option.
