"[name].."

you were sitting up against his bedframe as your head whipped to the boy laying down beside you, shock evident in your features. it was almost 1am and sieun being the prompt boy he is, fell asleep wayyy before you. "i thought you were sleeping.." you mumbled before clicking off your phone and placing it on his bed stand. "what's wrong?"

"..." he stared at you tiredly, "come here," you raised an eyebrow and leaned down, scooting closer to him his bed clearly not suitable for two people. "what?" you asked him, confused at his forwardness. he stared at you without saying anything, prompting you to move your face closer, now inches above his. you used your elbow to prop yourself up.

he looked at you with glossy eyes for several seconds before he used a hand to push himself up slowly and meet you in the middle. a mix of sleep-depravedness and confusion caused you to stay still as he placed a kiss on your lips before flopping back down onto the bed, still maintaining eye contact with you. "come here," he mumbled once again.

a smile broke out onto your lips as you stared down at him in shock. his clear lack of sleep and lethargy was causing him to be bolder than he usually was.. you weren't complaining. he decided he was done waiting, weakly placing a hand on your arm and gently tugging you in his direction. "okay, okay." you giggled at his actions and switched off the lamp that was beside you before going to place your head on his chest. he wrapped an arm around you, sighing in content as you placed one of your legs in between his. "..love you," he mumbled.

in shock for the third time that night, you quickly responded with "i love you too, sieun." before he fell asleep with you in his arms.

your head whipped to the door as you heard a knock. that's really weird- your guardian(s) weren't supposed to be home till a lot later in the night. you stood up and shuffled from the parlor and to the front door, carefully peeking in the peephole, fully anticipating some sort of psycho murderer, but instead being met with the boy you adored the most.

quickly unlocking the door, ushered him in and locked it behind him. "hey, didn't expect you to come over." he didn't respond, only placing his bag down on the floor as he pulled off his shoes. you walked over to the table to grab your phone before making your way over to your room, not looking behind you because you knew he'd follow.

it soon hit you that he hadn't said anything since he came. you checked the time and realized it's way, way earlier then he normally would get here, as his commute time was now more than double the amount it was before.

"you're really early today-" as you turned around, you immediately noticed the tears threatening to spill from his eyes. "sieun?" you walked over to him, placing your hands on his cheeks. “what’s wrong?”

his eyes stared into yours before he simply shook his head, not wanting to talk about it. “okay,” you said, voice softer than a whisper before taking him into your arms. he gently reciprocated, his face naturally falling into the crook of your neck as the tears silently fell onto you, sighing tiredly.

you placed a hand on his head, brushing your fingers through his hair that you only now noticed seemed to be ruffled. when he finally pulled away with a frown on his face, you once again cupped his cheeks and kissed all over his face before placing a kiss on his lips, “i wish i could kiss all your tears away.”

he only gazed at you tiredly as you pulled his forehead to meet yours, the tips of your noses touching. “let’s go lay down, hm?”

"hi," you softly said, pulling an empty chair to his desk and sitting down i front of him.

it was lunchtime, and as per usual, you escaped the rowdiness of your classroom to be with the one you liked the most.

he looked up from his papers immediately, knowing exactly who it was. "hi," he responded, removing his earbuds and placing them back into their charging case. "what're you doing?" you sat up to get a better look at his papers, before meeting his eyes again. "math?"

he nodded, looking back down at the paper, continuing to write. you frowned at his action before reaching out to his hand and placing yours on top of it and tapping him. "have you eaten? no, right?" you reached below the desk, his eyes following your actions as you pulled out two bento boxes, placing them on his desk. "boom. not one, but two lunches! so we each have our own."

he looked up at you as you unpacked them and set the chopsticks on top, admiration swirling in his eyes. he felt his chest warm at your actions, and soon enough he was unable to contain the small smile growing on his mouth. "thank you," he mumbled, picking up his chopsticks to eat.

you smiled at him and looked around. after making sure none of the few students in the class were watching, you stood and leaned forward, gently placing your hand on his cheek and kissing his lips before sitting back down and picking up some rice. "of course."

you sigh as you feel the bed beside you dip from the weight of your boyfriend, but you didn't stop scrolling on your phone. without much thought, he cuddled closer to you, arm wrapping around your waist and laying his head on your shoulder.

"whaddya doing?" he mumbles, moving the angle of his head to look towards your phone. "nothing," you responded back. he hummed, watching as you scrolled mindlessly through your favourite brain-numbing media app. he closed his eyes and put his forehead on your shoulder. it wasn't usual for him to be this calm and non-chaotic, so whenever it happened, you knew better than to take it for granted.

you closed your phone and asked him, "are you bored?" he nodded. "wanna watch a movie?" he shook his head no. "..are you okay?"

he shook his head again. poor baby, you thought.

setting your phone on your desk, you moved to lay down on the bed, disrupting his position on your shoulder. he decided to follow suit, crawling into your open arms, hugging you. you pulled away from him for a bit and stared into his eyes. scooting closer to him, you moved in to peck his lips once before pulling away slightly, your noses touching. the movement tickled him, and for the first time that night, a giggle escaped his lips. you smiled at him, his happiness infectious.

even though he wasn't feeling his best, he still found it in him to show you how much he loved you in the smallest ways. his hands rubbing your back, when you should be the one trying to comfort him. he kissed your collarbone once before burying his face in your neck.

warmth flooded your heart in giddiness, words could not describe the love you felt for him. out of nowhere though, he began to speak. "you.." he cuddled you tighter; relishing in the way you combed your fingers through his locks. he heaved a relived sigh, like the worries and troubles he'd been burdened with were melting with every stroke of your hand. "you're my lifeline. i love you."

you smiled, "i love you too."

"get.. up! please!" you lightly tapped his back as he leaned over on you, almost making the both of you topple over. you were not a lightweight, so when he came up to you all giggly and drunk, you decided it would be best for the both of you to return home.

huge mistake going to that party.

he slowly stood upright. "where.." he mumbled, "where's my partner?" you blinked at the wall tiredly, "i'm here, jun." you took his arm, as you guided him through the door of your shared apartment.

moments passed before he gasped, "you look just like them!" he gasped, "yaaah! are you their twin?" he looked at you startled.

"what?" you chuckled, "no, i don't have a twin yeonjun. i'm your partner,"

"ummm," he looked at you with a raised eyebrow, "yeah, okay. well, i'm taken by [name], y'know, your sibling. so leave me alone. weirdo."

"ah, really? damn." you said mock-exasperatedly, "well, they got really lucky then."

he laughed loudly, “yeah, right. im the lucky one….”

a few moments passed as he stared at you for a second before gasping, “yaaaah, [name],” he covered his mouth. you looked up at him in shock and confusion. “what? did you forget something?” you wonder what clicked in his head that he finally addressed you as who you were.

his face morphed from alarm to something you could only describe as dazed. “you’re so cute.” he smiled at you, maintaining eye contact. he cupped your cheek before hugging you tightly, giggling as he swung you back and forth. you pulled away from him bashedly, laughing at his overly affectionate demeanor.

you smiled at his words, “okay, come awn, im too tired for this.”

as you were locking the door, you heard a loud thump! whipping around, you were met with him laying on the couch, extremities sprawled and all. he yawned before shouting, "where's my [naaame]!?" you sat down beside him and giggled, leaning in front of his face. "shush!! you're gonna wake up the neighbors! i'm here, yeonjun," you spoke softly.

the pout on his face promptly transformed into a smile, and you laughed as he sat up to hug you properly. "i love youuu," he swung you back and forth, laughing with you. he pulled away and took your face in his hands, pulling you in for a sweet kiss before leaning back in for another hug, moving his face downwards to kiss a trail up your neck.

you sat there in bliss for a few moments before attempting to push him off. "let's get ready for bed, junnie," but he stopped you, holding you tighter. "yah, stop moving!" you laughed breathily, "why??" he fell silent before mumbling, "because you feel amazing in my arms."

you giggled at him and finally the last piece of your resolve melted away, and you decided, maybe it’s okay if you both sleep here— just for tonight.

"noo, you look pretty, i swear!" you grabbed a hold of his shoulders and turned him back around before he could spin to fully look at you, ready to make you stop braiding his hair.

he sighed heavily (and quite dramatically, might you add), and you laughed at his demeanor. "yah, are you sure, [name]? i probably look dumb." he dragged out the last syllable of the word, shaking his head slightly from side to side.

"no, no, you look sooo good, i swear," you giggled at him; your laughter being infectious, he laughed along with you.

finally, just as you finished the short braid on his hair (that was quite difficult due to his length) you walked around the chair to look at him, cupping his cheeks in your palms. staring for a moment, you sighed. "you're so cute." sunoo smiled at you, his eyes glancing away from yours abashedly, "i know~" he said jokingly. you scoffed at him playfully and continued your work.

you finished placing all the clips in his hair, patting it down when you were finished. "done!" you put your hands on his shoulders, "i'll take a picture of you!" you exclaimed happily. he nodded as you pulled out your phone and navigated your way to the camera app.

as you were trying to find a good angle, you didn't notice the way he looked at you with adoration. it was like you were a blessing to him- first he got to debut with a group of people who were like family to him, and now he has someone who he loved with all his heart, and loved him the same way. it brought butterflies to his stomach.

"which one's the best?" you bent down to his chair and scrolled through the gallery, but he didn't look away from you. his eyes remained fixed on your side profile and you remained none the wiser.

"sunoo?" he snapped out of his daze and looked at your screen, randomly selecting a picture. "this one. i like this angle the most." he looked back at you. smiling, you nodded. "me too."
