rafe had expected another flooding ; strangely enough, it was not due to damage from the heavy rain && strong weather from a while back. no, however it was something far worse.
❝ the genius who designed the place chose to place the plumbing system behind this corner here, ❞ he says, leading the way. he's careful with his steps, trying to step on dry patches, though eventually giving up once they reach what seems to be a ... strange amalgamation of pipes and valves.
❝ in order to preserve the rest of the museum's aesthetic, i chose to reserve this part of the wing for staff members only. ❞ some of the water seeps out of cracked && poorly maintained tubes, with various buckets shoved haphazardly underneath them.
however, some of the cracks and dents appear manmade.
