Goodbye, you sweet and caring "Lemon Slice" <3
So like, my little "lemon slice" just died. A nickname I gave our little yellow bird, who was actually named Kine. I forgot what those birds are called in english, my mind is a little bit foggy to remember atm. Anyways, this sweet and social lil' friend of passed away between 30min-1h ago. And it came like a shock. Like I just burst into tears. And tears are still streaming down my face. She will be greatly missed. I know it might be weird to cry like this over a dead "bird", for some people. But she was more than a bird for me. She was a happy little thing, coming with her cheerful whistles. Sitting on my head and playing with my hair. Even make a noise that sounded like she was trying to mimic my laughter. I will just miss having her flying around the room. Miss having "deep conversations" with her. I didn't even know she was this ill. I just saw that she was acting abit weird today. So me and my brother tried to nurse her... I just hope she was happy to get even more attention than usual, to her last breath. Sleep well little lemon slice, you will be missed, and always ALWAYS be loved so much <3 You were a special little one. I love you so much Kine, I will never forget you, nor our times together <3 Fly with the others in the sweet and free bird paradise. Goodbye my friend <3
