A combination of Craig waving him over and nearly losing his balance made the question he’d already asked twice die in his throat; moving out of the group was probably a good idea, if he wanted to ask this properly. He wobbled across the last bit of ice to where Craig had stopped - away from the rest of their noisy friends so that he could speak without shouting. It was beyond obvious, at least to himself, that he hadn’t been taken out skating much in his earlier life; he usually had to work when his friends did stuff like this. Andreas reaches behind him to steady himself against the windowsill. It's only been a week and he's already failing at the one thing he needs to do, so he shakes his head. "Ella is... charming," he gets out, voice slightly strangled.

Silva takes a step closer, then another. "But..." he trails, knowing there's more, knowing he has Andreas pinned. His heartbeat rises; even though they're both buttoned up to the collar, beneath Saul's gaze he feels more exposed than he ever has in his life.
