The thing I hate most about this time of year (Valentines and Mother's Day too) is knowing that the big companies - M&S, Moonpig (even some interflora orders) & all others who sell flowers - will be delivering via a courier flowers they made up sometime-last-week. Florists, local shops, local people, flowers are delivered by our drivers who know how to handle the flowers (unlike some of those big courier firms) and the orders are made up on-the-day from flowers delivered direct from the markets that very morning...                 There’s an age old saying that, if you have nothing nice to say, you shouldn’t say anything at all but surely that just means that whatever nice things you want to say should absolutely be said. Mio has always liked to think of herself as bold and forthright in a nice way. Maybe it speaks to a lack of social awareness or some kind of misplaced confidence but all that can be forgiven in the name of simple kindnesses. “ I hope this doesn’t make me sound like a weirdo ”, says Mio, leaning forward at the slightest of angles, the beginnings of a glimmer in her eye, “ But you’re so pretty. Like, just straight up super pretty. ”

           There   was   a   visible   deflation   at   the   words   uttered   by   the   companion,   rosy   lips   jutting   into   an   exaggerated,   almost   theatrical,   pout.   Of   course,   the   dramatic   act   progressed   and   Aurora   gifted   Ren   with   the   C U R S E   of   her      ‘   puppy   dog   eyes.   ’     appearing   as   a   guilty   golden   retriever   just   scolded.   There   was   a   lot   of   pride   in   the   performance.        “    So,   I   am   guessing   it   is   a   no   for   our   MATCHING    BFF   SHREK   COSTUMES   AND   DANCE   OFF   ON   STAGE    ?      A   solid   no   ?      Or,   a   maybe    ?      Perhaps,   just    the   matching   costumes    ?   ”

           Enthusiastic   chatter   was   rendered   to   a   whisper,   the   ecstatic   vibrancy   had   breathed   its   last   before   Aurora   halted   completely.   Doe  -  like   eyes   now   gawked   at   the   companion   uncomprehendingly.        “    Huh    ?   ”        A   vibrant   tint   of   shame   blushed   her   cheeks   whilst   a   sting   coruscated   in   those   dark   eyes   that   withdrew   instantaneously.   Only   a   moment   passed   before   Aurora    glanced   at   Love   again   with   INSOLENT   ARROGANCE   nestled    in   those   irises.   A   CONTRASTING   PLACIDITY   illustrated   on   her   comely   visage   as   a   smirk   tugged   at   the   corners   of   rosy   lips.        “    Not   at   all,   Sweets    !      FASCINATING   HOW   THE   HUMAN   FREE   WILL   WORKS,   DOESN’T   IT    ?   ”

           There   was   a   hint   of   amusement   glinting   in   the   obsidian   hues   of   those   eyes   staring   back   at   Jane.   Pale   lips   tugged   into   a   small   smile   before   sprawling   into   a   grin   once   those   words   were   uttered.   Vincent   could   not   help   the   chuckle   bubbling   in   his   throat   that   he   made   no   attempt   in   suppressing.        “    Really    ?   ”        Vincent   inquired   with   a   tilt   of   his   head,   humor   lacing   his   vibrant   tone,   a   playful   pout   puckering   those   lips.        “    Well   then,   I   guess   I   am   truly   lucky.   Tell   me   then,  BABE,  WHAT   ELSE   WOULD   I   BE   LUCKY   IN    ?   ”

hmm    ...    something  told  him  that  she  was  not  happy  with  him  right  now.    might  have  to  do  with  the  tone  in  her  voice  or  even  the  words.     couldn’t  for  the  life  of  him  figure  out  what  the  problem  was.    he  tilts  his  head  to  the  side,    eyeing  her  with  vague  concern.    “    you  might  want  to  tell  you  tone  that,    babe.    you  aren’t  exactly  coming  off  very  pleasant.    ”
