"wit, baby, i am only like this because i love you and i don't want other men stealing you away from me," jett says, a charming smile on his lips as he scans over his boyfriend/focus of obssession then meeting his eyes. they were at a gala that one of his dad's business partner is hosting but the heir neither cared nor paid any mind to it, especially when his boyfriend is standing in front of him, and looking absolutely beautiful in the outfit jett picked out for wit to wear. though, probably not good in the long run, because he already caught a few men looking at his wit way too closely for the heir's comfort. "and you know i'm prepared to do more than hurt those men should they ever get that close to you again." he says the last part in a quiet whisper while leaning in to brush a light kiss against his boyfriend's oh-so-soft cheek while embracing him tightly in his arms so that wit doesn't think of escaping.

jett had lost count how many days he had been down in this glorified prison since being kidnapped. he sits on the edge of his bed, with a ankle cuff around his left ankle and dressed in a simple black cotton pajama set as he looks toward the dining area and wonders if anyone is looking for him. his parents must be extremely worried about him, wondering where their son went and must have a search team out looking for him.

his attention is drawn when he hears a door open and the sound of descending footsteps on the stone stairs reaches him. his annoyance starts to simmer to the surface as a familiar face slowly came into view in the dim golden lighting of his prison. jett doesn't bother to hide the contempt in his eyes as he looks at the man that is now standing just feet away from him.

"no matter how many times you come down here, my answer remains the same," jett snarls toward the male, eyes narrowed as their eyes met. he had once loved the man in front of him, wanted to give him the world and even thought about marriage at one point, but now he absolutely hates the man in front of him. "you cannot ever make me love you again."

"it's, uh, nice to see you again as well," andrew answers, looking up from his laptop at his former friend with benefits/old crush, and meets their eyes. they had been together intimately years prior and andrew had caught feelings, confessed, got rejected and they eventually went their separate ways. before andrew knew it, four years have passed since he's seen or thought about them until now as they stood in front of him. "what brings you here?"

Maybe it was the simplicity behind it. Despite Roel's schedule as a resident doctor, they always have time for each despite truly not naming what this is. The very this that includes Inseo having the biggest smile on his face when met with Roel, how his fingertips would always find comfort in mapping out Roel's figure clothed or not, Inseo who had adored the way his bed sometimes smells like Roel on good days and this, how enjoy this that includes Roel warmth permeating through his mentally spent soul after long days of writing.

Maybe it is the longing that has overcome it or was it desperation? Either way, Inseo would never know how to perfectly balance the two but here is what he does best. He brushed his lips against Roel's and gently tug the man into his apartment, beckoning him further with tangible urgency, "You were late" he complained with no bite. "Did something happen?"

When the walls of his room begin to feel so hollow and compressing his lithe bones, he could feel himself at the losing battle of trying to keep his shit together - he was fighting the urge to relapse again - fighting the urge to find comfort in alcohol, punching away the need for rolled bill and questionable substances. So he runs, runs to the one who he knew could make him think straight even at the expense of him getting ridiculed or being looked down upon even if the method he would like to gain it is by sharing warmth with another. "Please, Beau, let me in" He pleas with that he rest his forehead against the other's, "I promise I will behave, I won't do anything that will make you upset but I need someone to keep me sane"

"you want me to be honest with you?" rachel asks, looking over at her potential client then doesn't bother to hide the grimace on her face as she runs through the description of the person that the other is so fixated on. so many people, men and women, match that description that rachel was given. the matchmaker has had many successful matches in her career but she's also had her share of duds and she has a feeling that if she were to set this up then it may turn into that - a dud. "you only like them because they are unattainable and they only showed you a tiny bit of kindness that made you latch onto the thought of them."
