Realisations
I realised something today. Actually not today, a little while ago. I had fallen in love not with that girl but the idea of her. The idea of a perfect girl. Someone who wanted me and could like me for who I am. I guess that is the deceit of love. We love a person so much before getting to know them, that we paint a perfect picture in our heads of what that person should be, before we get a chance to get to know them. Love isn't a lie, but we can lie to ourselves about love.
