Something New (Drabble for loveisallweneed90)

Your best friend and her boyfriend have been dating for a while and you loved hanging out with both of them. But her boyfriend had a best friend that you hated. And you had to see him all the time. Now it was their one year anniversary party and you were stuck listening to his obnoxious stories of his past to all the guests. Your best friend notices you standing alone and walks over to you. She hands you a drink and laughs. “What?” you ask, taking a sip. “Just how much you hate James” she said. “I do. He’s a prick” you say. Your best friend simply shakes her head and leaves. You lean against the wall and continue drinking. You didn’t know if your best friend knew but that was your 8th grade tonight and you were starting to feel tipsy. But with James here, it was all you had to keep you happy and it wasn’t working.

You walked to the back and sat on the couch by yourself. You lean your head back and try to relax but then someone sits beside you. You open your eyes and turn to see James sitting there. His big cocky smile was showing and he leaned back with confidence. He just screamed “dick” to you. “You look like you’re having a great time Ms. 8 glasses of wine” he says. “Well with you here, it’s the only thing keeping me sane” you retort. James scoffs and looks away. You notice him wave to a bunch of women drooling over him across the room. “God you make me sick” you say and get up. You hear James following you as you walk upstairs. “You’re just mad because I never liked you” he says. “Whatever” you just wanted to get away from him. “Yeah after that bad blind date, you totally loved me and I thought you were a creep” he said. You whip around and glare at him. “I did NOT like you! You were a total dick!” you scream. “You called me like every night after begging for another date” “I called you once the night after because you stole my wallet!” You couldn’t even believe people liked him so much.

“Ok sure… but you still called” he said. You scream in frustration and go to walk away. He catches your arm and turns you around. “Listen…” he says. You try to get away but he holds you tighter. You started to feel weird in the pit of your stomach but you decided to call it the hate burning. “I wanted you to call” he whispers. Then he grabs your face and kisses you. You pull away shocked. “What? Why? What the hell?” you ask. “I had fun on that date. I stole your wallet so you would want to meet up. But then you got all pissy and I just never tried to tell you…” he says. You thought he was joking but you looked in his eyes. They were filled with sincerity. Hazel sincerity. Suddenly, you didn’t know how to feel anymore.

But you did know one thing, you wanted to kiss him again. You grab him by his hair and kiss him passionately. “Jamie” James whispers on your lips. Your body shakes and you push him against a wall. You unbutton his dress shirt and snake your free hand down his body. You start to kiss his neck and jawline and his hands trace your dress line on your back. “I was only ever a dick to you because I felt hurt and vulnerable. The truth is… I love you” He looked in your eyes and he said the words and your knees felt week.

You feel your eyes water and you pick him up off the wall. You wrap your arms around him and just hold him. He holds you tighter to him and he kisses your head. “I never knew… I never realized… I’m sorry” you stutter. “Shh. It doesn’t matter now” James says kissing you again. No, you guess it didn’t matter.

woah i can't believe it's a year since gleek-on

HOW IS IT ONE YEAR SINCE I MET HARRY AND KEVIN AND ASHLEY AND DOT AKLHFALKBFAIERAGNA I WANNA GO BACK SO BAD OMG.

and omg i can't believe i have known my awesome gleek friends from gleek-on for a year and coz it's me and i make everything sentimental agjfkhdalgalgja i love you guys and you are amazing. coz you were like the first people i knew who liked glee as much as i did and i was like woahhhhh so i'm not the craziest person on the planet? and i haven't seen you guys for ages and i miss you but yes thankyou for being awesome and gleeky :) and thanks for making me get tumblr, even though i probably should be killing you for making me get it when it has totally taken over my life :P

and now i have to go stalk you all so i can find your urls to tag you coz i've lost track of some of your urls lol. and you probably don't actually know who i am, so for those of you who don't i am elysha :)
