📚 What was your last 5 star read(s)?? And, how do you decide if a book is a 5 star? Happy Thursday, Bookworms … I woke up this morning thinking it was Friday. I am disappointed that it’s not. 😂 Have you read any awesome 5 star books lately? If so, which books, and how do you decide if a book is 5 stars? Confession: I am the WORST about rating books. I hate giving stars. I usually either didn’t like it, liked it, or really liked it. And every once in a while a book with WOW me, and I guess that’s 5 stars. 😅 I’ve enjoyed a lot of books lately, but I’m still waiting on something to wow me… It’s been a while since that’s happened, and it’s totally me and not the books I’m reading. 😅 One series that I really enjoyed recently was the *Lovelight* series by B.K. Borison. I think the third book, *Mixed Signals* is definitely my favorite of the series. I devoured the book faster than I have a book in a while, so that was nice. ❤️ What 5 star reads have you read recently? 📚 What’s your most favorite genre? And, what are you reading this weekend? It’s finally Friday, Bookworms … Do you have any reading plans this weekend? What are you reading?? I am so glad the weekend is here. I plan to spend most of mine staying at home and reading. I’m on a reading kick right now, so give me all the books before it goes away. 😂 This weekend I plan to finish up *In the Weeds* by B.K. 🌼 Trying to breathe through anger 🌼 So. I've just been *so angry* ("filled with incandescent eage" is a more appropriate way of putting it tbh) these past few days with what's happening in the US...I figured I needed to post something bright and cheerful, a book we can maybe lose ourselves in for a few hours. I give you IN THE WEEDS by @authorbkborison, which is the follow-up to one of my most favorite books from last year, LOVELIGHT FARMS. This book follows a new pair of characters, social media influencer Evelyn St James and Beckett Porter, the caretaker of Lovelight Farms. I can't wait to dive in to their story and take another trip back to the Farms! Technically this is a standalone, but if you haven't yet read LF, I am begging you to do so!
