finding comfort in small things❄️☕
Saturday night ☕️
It is a new month, which means a new reading challenge! 📖☀️ This month is all about the love of books, in Just One More Page. This reading challenge is free to join in the @owlcrate the Nest app. I am catching up on some books I have been meaning to read this month!
What books are you looking forward to reading this month?
Here is my April TBR:
The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett
The Song of Thyssia by S.J. Stiles
Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer
When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker
Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter by Heather Fawcett
The Forget-Me-Not Library by Heather Webber
An Archive of Romance by Ava Reid
The Poet Empress by Shen Tao
There are some wonderful reading quilts in our Etsy shop at victoriagdesigns.etsy.com or www.victoriagleasuredesigns.com 💛
week three of the may bingo board
skipped week two, but somehow i already have three bingos
the last couple of weeks filled a lot of squares: almost kiss, don’t leave, memory wiped, you came back, that look again…
only a few left now
trying sci-fi this month has been interesting. i think i love it more on screen than on the page, but i’m still hoping one of these books proves me wrong
each book opens a door in my mind.

Starting a New Book
Today, I’m starting
"Sherlock Holmes und sein erster Fall"
— a borrowed copy from a good friend.
There’s something special about reading a book that has already passed through someone else’s hands, carrying a bit of shared trust and recommendation with it.
I’m curious where this story will take me and what clues, thoughts, or quiet moments it will leave behind.
A new book, a new beginning.
Yours,
A year written in books
