Tagged by lovelivealways. I'm not feeling up to coming up with my own questions, but I'll answer the ones given to me. Instead, followers, you should recommend music to me! MY QUESTIONS: What kind of Asian pop do you listen to? (Kpop, Jpop, etc) I mostly listen to Mand pop and Kpop, but some Jpop, and I've liked some other things in the past when I've run across them. Who is your all time favorite band and why? I don't know... I like a lot of bands. Uh, some of my favorites at least at the moment: Fei Lun Hai, JPM, Super Junior, Exo, Lunafly, and LC9. Those are in no particular order though. If I'm adding individual artists to that, also Wang LeeHom and Aaron Yan (who is a part of Fei Lun Hai, but is awesome in his solo work too). If you could meet one and only one of your biases who would it be and why? This is again really hard. Ugh. I don't know. I'd probably have to say Aaron Yan because he was the first bias I ever had, and I still like him so much even after all this time (eight years). Do you like girl groups or boy groups more? On average I like boy groups more, but I do like and listen to both. Cute or Sexy Concept? My favorite concepts are often more on the artistic or elegant side, but of cute versus sexy, I usually prefer cute unless there is elegance involved in the sexy, but then I like it for the elegance. What’s your favorite Movie? I don't know. Um. My taste in movies general bounces between science fiction (I like most of the Star Trek films), fantasy (Lord of the Rings is awesome, but I have some bones to pick with it), and martial arts films (I rewatched a lot of Jackie Chan and Michelle Yeoh films recently). So a few things that I've really enjoyed: Little Big Soldier, The Four, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Touch, The Last Unicorn, Bloodsport, and I'm not thinking of lots more. It sort of depends on what I'm in the mood for. How did you come across Asian Pop? I was introduced to Mand pop by a friend's mom back in middle school, so the early days of Wang LeeHom, Comic Boys, and F4. I really liked it then, and my first group that I got really into was Fei Lun Hai. When I got to Uni, I for various reasons didn't keep track of it all that well, though that is when I had my rather minimal Jpop phase for the most part. I only really got into Arashi and a bit into Hey!Say!Jump! After Uni I was introduced to Kpop through a few directions, and kind of got hooked because of the intersections with mand pop (basically SJM is to thank for my kpop obsession), and that got me really back into Mand pop. And the land of intense confusion over Fei Lun Hai losing Wu Chun, and the formation of JPM from my favorite members of Lollipop and Choc7. What song are you listening to right now? "Baby Don't Cry" Exo M If it was your last day to live what would you do? Who would you spend it with? (doesn’t have to be an idol) I have no idea. I'd probably want to go to beautiful places, eat good food, and spend time with people I care about. But this is something that I don't want to think about really. Describe yourself in 3 words. Creative, introverted, intense. Recommend any songs? Anything by Wang LeeHom. Um, honestly, see the list of favorite bands. I like them because I like their music.
