Meet the Meeps! (Part 1)

The Meeps inhabit an exotic and fantastical world. They're a band all the way from England. They're all different but what brought them together is that they love music and it was any kind of music. They just started out and they moved over from London to Los Angeles which is super exciting for them. These five soft toy animals who got together through their shared love of music and try to turn their dreams of being the best rock band in the world into a reality. Although the Meeps inhabit an exotic and fantastical world, their story is rooted in dilemmas, dramas, and personal disputes of an actual contemporary young rock band and countless other bands throughout history who have gone down the same road in search of success and fortune. It's a totally relatable story, one which generations of creative, ambitious young people have embarked on. We follow the Meeps as they audition for new band members, begin writing songs, start rehearsals, perform their first few disastrous gigs, sign up with a hopeless manager and set off and tour. We see the stresses and strain of their different personalities creating tension which eventually threatens the very existence of the band.
