I've just realized that Lida wrote the super sad Datherine fic that made me cry.

I have decided that I will not change and write in third person. I realize that makes me sound like a bitch and a diva, not changing what I am doing for the benefit of the entire group, but I think you have to see where I am coming from. My entire chapter is based on the internal thoughts of my character, and if I changed it to third person it would be - to put it bluntly - fucking shit. I won't publish something I am not at least moderately proud of, especially if I am going to break my hiatus to write this, not to mention take time out of my EXTREMELY busy schedule to write it, and have it be something I don't like. I really want to write with you guys, but I also think that we should all be able to write our chapters the way that will make them sound best. Each chapter is written by someone different, it's not a two person collaboration, so I honestly don't see why a variance in the writing styles would make it so terrible. If anything, it will make it better.

I know you expected me to just roll over and write in third person, and honestly, that might be the nice thing to do, but I ask to please think about this as big picture. So please don't try to guilt me by asking me to be the mature one, because the mature thing to do in this situation is to let everyone go on their merry way without an argument about it, because it doesn't even matter anyway.

I didn't mean for this to become a rant, and I honestly hate that I sound so bitchy, but I am not going to write in third person just to be like everyone else, if it is going to ruin my chapter.

i just read "liam, mate you've got a problem" and let me tell you you are by far the most talented writer i've seen on tumblr ever! you're amazing keep up the good work :)

Omg, what? Have you even read lovelylida or sometimesitshardtograsp or even postcardfromsomewhere? They are just some the ones who made me want to write for this fandom. If you haven't read them yet, go do so. Now.
