Yesterday, the BOD was lucky enough to go to San Francisco State University's President's Dinner and Alumni Hall of Fame. I gotta say.. SFSU's ALUMNI ARE THE BEST, Especially this womxn on the top left Mu Sochua. A human rights activist, Nobel Prize Nominee, who has dedicated her life to fighting for the rights of the Cambodian people, specifically womxn and children who are victims of trafficking and exploitation back in her homeland. One thing I found so touching about her story was that we both had something in common at our time at SFSU; we both found the power of our voice and the importance to stand up and fight for any injustices that we may face in this world. It's hard to believe (yet I do understand) that someone this amazing has walked through the same campus as me and I hope she understands how big of an impact she has made in my activism. 💖 Also, shout out to Dean Monteiro, the best dean ever, for being such a great person on campus and providing the support all students need to succeed! #ASI #SFSU #MuSochua #DeanOfEthnicStudies #BestDeanEver #lovemyjob #LoveMyBOD #SurroundedByInfluentialLeaders (at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco)
