I’m currently mid-way through a trip to the fabulous Orkney Islands! Two days have seen me clock up 12th Century Cathedrals, pre-historic brochs, WW2 religious sanctuaries, gin cocktails and a visit to one of Scotland’s top whisky distilleries. No bad. No bad at all.

Cliffs at their most dramatic, giant standing stones swirling with mystery and remains of pre-historic civilisations.....quite a way to say goodbye to the incredible Orkney islands!
