When did you start writing Olitz? 2016.
Tell us about yourself! What do you want readers to know about you? I observe a lot. Do my best to encourage my friends and those around me. Love a good cup of coffee. Traveling is my favorite and I love to laugh. ESFJ, 3w4 (enneagram).
What drew you to Olivia and Fitz? Their chemistry, the nuances of their relationship was fascinating. Of course, Kerry and Tony, who vividly brought their characters to life. You can't help but to be intrigued.
What made you want to write about them? After finally starting to watch the show, and reading a few stories, it sparked my interest. I enjoy writing, and it's fun to expand on them, in different situations.
How would you describe your writing? Emotional, with hints of real life, fluff and angst, and slow burn. I like to write about feelings and relationships, and the intricate dynamics within it all.
What inspires you to write / create? Music, visuals. A random Olitz glance during a Scandal scene. Body language. Fun conversations. I'm a creative by nature / occupation, so it's a great way to express myself, outside of work.
Favorite movies, shows, music?
Movies: Cinderella, Breakfast at Tiffany's. (I’m a true sap.)
Shows: I like comedies and dramas. The Office, Scandal, Being Mary Jane, Madam Secretary, The Crown, Lucifer.
Music: Lots of genres, including R&B, pop, musical theatre. Anything with a beat, sounds good, and tells a story.
How long does it take you to write a chapter? What a question. Depends on what's going in life. Weeks, months. I have a chapter that I started working on a few years ago...still haven't published it yet. I've learned not to put too much pressure on myself. (Still working on that.) But I do enjoy the process.
Did the show’s themes and plots encourage you or discourage you from writing? Encourage.

Fave Olitz moments? Any time they're super vulnerable and real with each other. Ooh, when they're sassy. That's fun to watch. And LOVE SCENES.
Fave Olitz fanfic moments? I love reading about when Olivia and Fitz are able to express their love to each other, when they’re able to realize they’re stronger than they think.

Do you like it when readers engage with you via comments / social media? Yes.
Story Reviews: Love them, hate them? For the most part, I enjoy them. I love detailed reviews. It is fun to read how someone connects with the story. Also, it makes me happy when others let me know they enjoy my stuff. Makes it all worth it, ya know?
What advice would you give to a new Olitz writer? Just go for it! You might like it. Every story is unique and only you can tell it.
Outside of your fics, do you have any fave Olitz stories or authors? I do! I enjoy stories that tug on your heartstrings and make you think.
Do you talk to other Olitz authors? If so, do you like the camaraderie? Yes, I do. It’s great to connect with others who know how the process goes. Everyone’s writing journey is different, but it’s nice to have people who are in your corner.
Have you made friends (people you talk to outside of fanfic) because of Olitz / Scandal fanfic? Absolutely. I’ve gained so many wonderful friendships because of this. Never let anyone discourage you from convincing you that internet friendships can't last or be real!
