And she knew too, that neither daemon would change now, having felt a lover’s hand on them. These were their shapes for life; they would want no other.

The touch was exactly what the touch of a lover's hand should be: familiar, yet exciting as a whispered promise. I felt an almost irresistible urge to take her hand and place it flat against my chest, near my heart. Maybe I should've done it. I know now that she would've laughed, if I'd done it, and she would've liked me for it. But strangers that we were then, we stood for five long seconds and held the stare, while all the parallel worlds, all the parallel lives that might've been, and never would be, whirled around us.

What You Should Know: Cougar Town (S3S3)
Jules assures Ellie, if she shaved her head, she would look exactly like a monkey banging cymbals.
Cougar Town season 3, episode 3: Lover's Touch
Sometimes the relationship between Jules and Travis is a little too weird but I love it! Its hilarious. Their dinner with hands............adopt me. Actually I rarely ever use utensils so thats how I normally eat! (utensils are just awkward). Anyway, while it was funny, I felt really bad for Tom! His face was so sad too.... Poor guy.
Other than that this episode was full of great moments! Like Ellie and Laurie becoming better friends (I loved how natural that felt) and Andy letting his stalker out (floored by the scene at the end!). Travis, though, should NOT be worried about telling the story of his injury. He was doing something stupid, silly, and reckless. Those are all A+ in my book. But I would have ditched the helmet as I am sure he was about to do when he drove off. Like all good sons he appeases the momma and then disobeys.
