I'm sorry if I've asked you this before but I made this post a while ago and now I can finally ask someone, you know how vere likes to draw, do you think he spends a lot of time drawing a romanced mc (aka us) 🥺

yeah I think he does. I can imagine him being usually happy with what comes out in his sketches, most of the time anyway, and if not it doesn't matter too much. but with you?? he's not finishing them and starting again, he's spending too long thinking about it with the pencil in his fangs, he's scribbling across it and pouting and the chair scrapes the floor as he gets up and tries to do something else. basilea is now bringing him stacks of new sketchbooks (she doesn't know why, she's glad he has a hobby that doesn't seem destructive, though she's definitely stepped into his 'room' with balls of paper all over the floor and ruffled fur before)
he's frustrated that hes frustrated by drawing you, because he wants to get it right. frustrated it's hard to capture the subtle softness of your eyes when you look at him and that one you pull when you're confused because he's played a trick on you. why does it matter anyway (¬⤙¬ ) (because he luuuuurrves you)
when he does get close though I think he feels.. strange. satisfied and good but his eyes are constantly flicking back and tracing it, he leaves the page open so as he's doing other things he can just glance at it and tilt his head (all real things artists(me at least) do) .
