It’s a good day to be a yes. 11 years ago, this week, we met on the dance floor. 8.5 years ago, he started his furniture business while we were pregnant. 8 years ago, we gave birth to our son. 5 years ago, I started teaching yoga. 3 years ago, we said yes. This year, he started teaching yoga. Now, I’m drinking coffee he delivered to bed. There’s a lot in between these marks. High and lows. We’ve certainly been on different pages, entirely different books, in fact. We have each other in a way that feels easy and sometimes I’ll make a challenge out of that. We both know when to push and when to pause. There’s an intimacy that has no words.
