    Taking Natsuki anywhere with competition on a date was basically asking for her to go all out on you. Natsuki was a sore loser, and very rarely let herself lose. While she could admit defeat, it didn’t mean she’d take it kindly. However, for Monika, she guessed it’d be okay to maybe let it slide ... if Monika beat her that is.

    Being as small as she was definitely had its advantages sometimes. Natsuki fit herself into an odd position between the end of a “wall” and the hole next to her. She snickered to herself as she heard Monika chime, immediately ducking down before popping her head through the hole, soon followed by the rest of her as she fired a few shots.

    “Don’t worry! I’ll comfort you after you lose!”

Ah... forgive me for getting the two of you confused! If this doesn't come off as insensitive, I didn't know you could - exist? - like this, without being controlled by someone outside. If you'll... if you can forgive the things you know happened, I would love to hear more about it.

That’s the thing… I didn’t know I could either. It’s kinda weird, and I don’t think I can explain it properly. I mean, it’s not as if I have a personality, is it? 

I’ve already forgiven you, Monika. I mean… Sayori tried the same thing. I bet Yuri and Natsuki would as well. The only reason I didn’t is because I’m barely a person at all.

I'm sorry, too. I should have known from the start that I'm not allowed my happy ending with you, and left everyone's files alone. I should have just been happy seeing you be happy... but you're the only hope I had.

Not me, Monika. You’re mixing me up for someone else… someone who deleted you. I’m the guy you didn’t know existed. The one your boyfriend… or girlfriend, or datemate, or whatever… was controlling. 

I would have liked to be friends at least… and maybe we still can. After all, I listened to you for the hour. I know things.
