I don't know if they're training on that rainy place but it doesn't look like they're fighting. It just doesn't look like it, he's not going to hurt her

Rest In Peace Andre
// I have never done this before because it is rare we hear of death in the RP community but I just heard of the passing of Andre, the mun behind @cajunwithcards, @wingedxworthington and @loverofspiders. He passed away on September 22. Like many of us who uses RP to escape our real world problems he never mentioned any illness, causing me to assume his varying periods of absence was just taking time off from RP. Andre was always such a delight to speak to OOC and Ororo adored his Gambit. The RP community has definitely lost a valued member. My condolences go out to all of his family and friends in real life as well as within the community. May Andre now find the peace he was unable to while on this earth.
Is it okay if I were to keep a Leo in a 15 qt. Sterilite bin, on paper towels, and kept warm during the day and cooler at night? I have been interested in getting a Leo but I cannot afford a heat lamp or such during the month.
I know some people who keep leos in 15qt tubs, but I keep mine individually in 32qts and really couldn’t recommend keeping them in anything smaller than that. I also keep my leos on a constant temperature gradient during the day and night, though a drop in a few degrees at night wouldn’t be harmful.
I have heard a lot of sides of this topic and have seen some with and without heat lamps, but do you feel Leo's need a heat lamp? Also with corn sneks? <3
Leopard geckos definitely do not /need/ heat lamps. If you’re not using a loose substrate I don’t see any reason why you would use a heat lamp for them since UTH work fine. A lot of morphs are also fairly light sensitive and bright heat lights can damage their eyes. If you needed to raise your ambient temperatures for your leopard gecko or wanted to provide them with an additional source of heat, I would recommend a radiant heat panel if you have a gecko, such as an albino, that is light sensitive. If you have a non albino, non enigma, non wy leopard gecko you can definitely use heat lights, I just personally prefer UTH especially since I work with mainly albinos.
As far as corn snakes go you could do either depending on the type of caging you were using. In aquarium style cages, UTH generally work better. When I upgrade my corn from his current tub+UTH he will be in a PVC cage with no underbelly heating with an RHP as the heat source.
Which gecko is JoJo? Also, what sort of special needs does he need?
He’s the first one in the photoset. He was my first leopard gecko and I got him from a chain store when I graduated high school. He came to me with MBD and missing toe tips and he later dropped the majority of his tail under my care during an overnight escape. He’s seven years old now and gets along just fine, he just needs a bit of help shedding due to the nature of his legs and toes. I also give him extra calcium and supplements to keep his bones as strong as possible.
