Uinen had glanced her way as her shadow flickered in her peripheral vision. She was tempted to just let her go, but her eyes caught on the necklace that her daughter had shown her the day before. “I see you found what Laume left for you.” She said nonchalantly.
Lindethiel winced at her words, stopping in her tracks. Of course that had been too easy. And of course the jewelry had been from Luthifin; who else would have had such pieces, and left them for her?
“Yes,” she agreed, plastering on the smile that was reserved for unpleasant conversations that demanded her to not look how she felt. “They’re all lovely. I’ll be certain to give her my thanks when next I see her.”
